oddly enough, it's an integer for providing a unique id for individual units marked by the fire of signal.

why he called the id trigger, when signal is the trigger

is also beyond me.

im fine with using an integer, it only updates like ever 12 hours, so i dont forsee running out of numbers

the whole thing that scares me, is that there are 700 of these little calcs running i just discovered.

i bet they're all like this

so his whole +holder-holder is a means of doing nothing
while trigger+holder/holder is just saying trigger++
