I've had to take on some HR duties in one of my current jobs. The names some people make me go

It's not just some of the employees names, but their references and bosses. Mike Hunt may be a great reference, but god damn if I'm going to call him (thankfully that's not part of my duties and branch office people do that shit).

Kinda bummed some of the family men aren't coming. It's not a typical shower shower...it's a party with family and friends (there will be booze). I had hoped this would be like a family reunion of sorts since we only see each other basically once a year. Oh well.

And I like that a week day I can sleep in bc of my docs appt I am essentially up this early...sigh...
