i just thought babchuk might be a trade possibility, not necessarily to the blackhawks. he would be a lot easier to sell than tanabe or hutchinson, and someone we could part with although he has looked somewhat impressive this year so far.

after this saturday there are only 2 more saturday games, the next being march 24th

and only 3 more friday games, the next being march 2nd

makes impossible for people with heavy schedules to go

Okay, sure, that third goal was a bit weak. It's a bad decision to go from the up post hold to the down hold at a time like that. With that said, he played well the entire game, it's not the GWG, and the team wasn't scoring, either. In Game 7 against Buffalo he let in a goal almost exactly like that one (a foot off the ice in that case) and the team responded. Tonight they didn't.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the dirty-as-fuck Ponikarovsky hit on Brindy. Thumbs up to Tanabe (of all people) for jumping him.
