WHen we play a solid team we dig ourselves in too deep of a hole. (see MSU and UNC)

If there was one semi-bright and it was very small, than it had to be the point guard play by State in the second half. More importantly benching Gonzalez after 1 minute and 2 turnovers. Only to see him come in for the last 3 minutes and have another turnover to the scrubs of Carolina. Please let Lowe see that Johnson needs to run the point. He isn't great, but a definite upgrade to what we are currently putting out there.

i'm gonna pretend the epic shooting slump first half was a bit of a fluke, because for the first few minutes of that game I saw the nc state from last year, and 2nd half performance was ook

glad fells is back and doesn't look like the foot is hurting him too much, he was actually hitting some threes in the second half too.

Another drumming on national television. Hell, even Saint Louis thought this was a horrible game. As for the halftime show, Bilas was right, the team seems like it's going in 5 different directions, but I wouldn't say no heart cause I'd say there are one or two that play up every game. Bilas just made me want to kill myself after that comment.

You blame heart if you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. It's pretty clear that we lost because of poor post passing (poor preparation), lack of any sort of threat from the PG position, and poor rebounding technique. As a result, we got nothing out of the positions where we were supposed to have an advantage -- costner and grant.

I'm just saying that some people will complain about a team running up the score on the other team while the losing team will still have the starters in until the game is almost over. All I am saying is the game is a 40 minute game, and if the losing team still has their starters and main players in with like five minutes left in a thirty-point blowout, don't expect the winning team to let off the gas.

Pretty much, the winning team won't quit until the losing team does personnel-wise.

Now, with that out of the way, let's focus on the next road game, Clemson.

If was not a fan of NCSU or UNC and was just flipping through the channels and stopped on ESPN, I would probably turn the channel after hearing the announcers say "this game is over" only 15 mins into the first half. That is bad publicity and I hope it lowered the viewer count and ratings. Only fucktard announcers put down other teams like this. The announcers in the GMAC bowl still stayed at least positive even though BG was beat 63-7.

What blew my mind the most was that while I was sitting in the dean dome in the second half, the fans got loudest when they reached a 30 point lead. Also there was a larger woman sitting in front of me listening to the radio broadcast with headphones and a few foul calls finally went our way and she starts shitting a brick, yelling at the referees to call it both ways, and finally turns around and asks me how much I thought sidney lowe had paid the refs at halftime.

I was really confused, until I found out that your UNC ticket stubs are worth a free biscuit at Boj's if they score over 100. This is why Roy left his starters in...

I went to the game

the first half was terrible

the second half UNC fans got worried to start

too bad the it was a tale of two halves.

Costner still sucks, Fells is our team, Grant didnt show up till halftime, Gonzalez was doing terrible, we couldnt make a layup and Hickson...you just learned what real big men are like.

He needs a lot of work with his defense. He still has to recognize how to pass to the open man when he is double and triple teammed, he needs to stop pump faking in mid air to draw a foul and just go up strong, the list goes on and on. He's not NBA ready because he needs to become a team player, not just a great individual player.

Since when does the NBA search for team players?

Just keep in mind, teams draft on potential not on what you do in college. I could still see him going and being a decent pick especially if he improves as the year goes.

What does it matter though? We lost atsur, gained hickson, and are worse. Nothing that has gone on this year makes me think we are a significantly better team with him, with our current team chemistry we might even be worse.
