Yeah, for little while and I don't need to play him right now as long as tate keeps playing

Speaking of Tate...

Should I sale high on him right now?

I have McFadden, Best, Rice...

Or should I try and trade for possibly a QB or WR?

WR:
V. Jackson
D. Henderson
M. Sims-Walker
M. Colston
L. Evans

QB:
Kolb
Bradford

or maybe a package deal....I have also Graham and Finley at TE...so maybe a Tate and TE for a QB or WR?

[Edited on September 20, 2011 at 12:57 PM. Reason : Fred Davis a FA right now, but im sure he will get picked up on waivers this week.]

^you might want to consider selling high. With each week Foster is going to be getting healthier, so you may be able to grab a good piece now while Tate is still getting the majority of the carries.

So does anyone seeing OchoCinco coming to life in the coming weeks? I am kind of intrigued at the possiblity of picking him up when his value is so low.

Brady spreads the ball around a lot. They just lost Hernandez for at least two weeks. It wouldnt hurt. Honestly any Patriot WR is gold when he puts up 400 plus a week!

^tried, person doesn't trust Matthews. So with that being said, would you do Gore/Nelson for Mendenhall?

I do notice that Gore is playing both the Ravens and the Steelers down the stretch, which could help validate this trade?

I'd like to upgrade my QB position with Matt Stafford. I've been offered a straight up trade for any one of these guys:

Steven Jackson -- Steady production you know what you're getting.
Jahvid Best -- Great performance so far, but fear of injury
Daniel Thomas -- Lot of upside, great first game

I have no idea which one I would rather give up... thoughts?

i would do it. RM becomes an instant starter and Jordy Nelson is more risky a play than any of your other WRs. He was a non-factor in the game last weekend until blown coverage in the final minutes.

Take it and run. Jordy Nelson is at best the 3rd or 4th passing option on the Packers and Mendenhall is an upgrade over Gore IMO.

I'm seriously thinking about starting Darren Sproles (vs. Houston) over Benson (v. SF) or Fred Jackson (v. NE)

shit maybe not after all. Houston and SF have been beasts against the run through two weeks. Maybe Jackson will get the start

do you get return yards? and is sproles still doing any returning down in n'awlins?

if so, that would make it a 50/50 call, otherwise, I'd roll with jackson- that offense is rolling... granted this will be their first real big test, but still

yeah Sproles is returning and catching passes out of the backfield which would be his only shot against the Texans' D

I guess I should have checked here before making the trade but here's what I did.

I was one of the unfortunate ones to lose JC to his torn acl. So, I traded Robert Meachem for Lagarrette Blount. Did I make a good trade? I still have Mike Wallace and Mike Williams at WR. Hopefully Mike Williams just had a bad week last week since he's the "go to" WR for TB.

What do you guys think?

^^tough call... I'd probably go with Sproles, but that is because I like return guys- one break could make your day, and they will get guaranteed attempts at making that happen

^I lost Charles too... not trading to get anyone, unless I wanna trade sanchez and welker for a decent back. I think you made a good trade- Meachem is good, but colston will be back and their are too many options there. Blount, while on a shit team, is the go to guy, and as long as he stays healthy, is not in jeopardy of losing that
------------------------------------------------------------------------

so I have welker and Branch- which one do I start? - keep in mind, non PPR, so welker having 15 catches at 3-7 yards a pop will still be worth less than 2 40 yard branch catches

or better yet- pick 3:

Wes Welker
Kenny Britt
Deon Branch
Hakim Nicks
Dexter McCluster (who will make up probably half of the chiefs offense)
AJ Green

right now I'm leaning towards Britt, Nicks, and Branch

I was offered Jordy Nelson or Steve Smith(CAR) and Owen Daniels for Tolbert. I assume he wants to complete the handcuff/RBBC with Matthews. It was also in a text so I have to figure this offer is:

A:
Steve Smith/Owen Daniels [get]
for
Mike Tolbert [give]

or

B:
Jordy Nelson/Owen Daniels [get]
Mike Tolbert [give]

I won't end up playing against him until Week 13. I have Marcades Lewis and Jermaine Gresham (picked up last week because of injury) at TE and AP/Deangelo/Addai as only RBs sans Tolbert. And as Slave pointed out, I have Megatron/Maclin/Dez/Ward/Knox/Evans already at WR.

He also has Mendenhall/Bradshaw/Tate. Should I counter offer and see how bad he wants Tolbert? From an outsider's standpoint; I suppose I would be getting the better deal in either situation?

I'd say Britt, Nicks, and Branch...but Green wouldn't be a bad play either.

I have Hakeem Nicks and Wes Welker as my starting Wides with Eric Decker, Devin Hester, David Nelson, and Sidney Rice sitting on the bench.

Considering dropping someone and picking up either Dexter McCluster WR - KC or Nate Washington WR - TEN.

Don't really want to drop Rice since he seems likely to come back from his injury this week but he would be my first choice if I did make a move.

Thoughts on my WR roster and McCluster/Washington?

Washington will be feast or famine- he drops too many balls

I think mcluster is a better bet... he'll split carries now and get more as the season wears on and thomas jones wears down, and he will still get some time in at receiver

And the beauty of mcuster is you have a back up wr and a back up rb... he does have one big downside though- he plays for the crummy chiefs

^ is that a serious question? Obviously Marshall, the #1 WR on the pass-happy Dolphins. Browns have given up on average the longest completed passes and they dont have a CB that can match up to his size. AND he leads the NFL in most targets.

A banged up Tony Romo vs WAS on MNF or Ryan Fitzpatrick vs NE?

Different league:

Stafford (@MIN), Roethlisberger (@IND), or Cam Newton (vs JAC)
at my flex (can play WR/RB/TE), Meachem, LT, Fred Davis, Julio Jones?

Seeing how Henne tore apart the secondary, I expect a lot of action in the air from the NE/Buff game... And while I am a Romo Homo, I think fitzpatrick might put up better numbers this week- I'm just worried that the rush that washington will put on might cause a few bad decisions, especially if he at all is worrying about his ribs

Fred Davis vs Dallas or Owen Daniels vs NO

So Far, Davis is killing it vs Daniels who has been average at best.

Also, Santonio Holmes vs Denarius Moore

These are in reference to who I should start ... not a trade.

I'm thinking of going all Belichick here and trying counter to upgrade a draft pick and then turning around and trying to scam somebody else with Woodhead. Thoughts?

Bad Sunday the other day... Lost Charles (year), B. Edwards (awhile), S. Jackson (who knows), and possibly Vick (probably going to play). On top of it, when I went to add Thomas Jones, he was already picked up (I drafted Jones then dropped him for someone before the season even started). I do have McCluster though.

Who would you start at RB? Pick 2.. I know it's ugly!!! J. Charles killed me.
S Jackson
McCluster

On wire:

Quizz Rodgers
Ronnie Brown

Pick one:

Fred Jackson v NE
Ben Tate v NO
Tim Hightower v Dallas.

Pick one:

Tony Gonzalez vs TB
Owen Daniels v NO

Thanks in advance

^^^^ henderson. again revis island effect.

^ fred jackson vs NE. tate and hightower have others stealing carries. and jackson is in line for a huge day vs NE at home.

TE is a toss up. i personally have owen daniels so im a bit partial but im benching him this week for fred davis. NO should be a shootout so daniels should get plenty of looks. ATL could blow out TB.

PICK 1:

Sproles vs HOU
DLo vs JAC
SJAX vs BAL

non-ppr. im leading towards sproles but.... meh

Sproles

Start 2
S. Johnson vs NE (nursing a groin injury but this game should have some high passing numbers on both sides)
D. Bowe vs SD
B. Tate vs NO
J. Stewart vs JAX
AJ Green vs SF
T. Jones vs SD
Addai vs PIT

And at TE, Fred Davis or Owen Daniels? Or I could play one of the TEs at my flex over Meachem, but I don't think that's a good idea. I think Daniels could get a lot of catches, but Davis has been very good so far.

^^ I would play Davis. He's been targeted by Grossman and DAL secondary is banged up.

^ LaFell. Newton is throwing like crazy and Olsen is splitting catches with Shockey. Not enough room for two pass-catching TEs.

Owen Daniels against NO
Dustin Keller against Oak

My gut says Keller since he's been Sanchez's go to guy so far this season, but a lot of projections are giving Daniels a lot of love this week.
