When it's working find the triple option pretty fun to watch, although I know many don't.

I remember being in high school and on the scout team trying to run the option when we played teams that ran it. Pretty much meant we just got yelled at all week for screwing it up and fumbling non-stop. Then our coaches decided that we'd run it one year and then we got yelled at for screwing it up and fumbling non-stop with our starters. Not easy to perfect.

I like watching GT play as an impartial observer. I'm not sure I'd like it for NC State, though. Similar to the princeton offense. Watching other teams successfully run it can be fun, but it's not something I'd want to State to run, really.

I think most state fans share that opinion. We could've had PJ with this boring non-sexy offense but we chose TOB and now we have a sexy offense with Doeren but might not ever have this much success.

Late to the party, likely been discussed.

I was watching the OSU / Wisconsin game with the audio muted so I could listen to the WF / NCSU game.

During the football game they kept showing replays of a guy leading with his helmet. It was obvious that the guy led with his helmet but I decided to switch the audio over to the game to see what they were saying. I was shocked. They were ejecting some other guy from the game, not their QB - who was the more obvious choice. They ejected the wrong guy.

Would be funny if they went 'Bama, Oregon, TCU, and tOSU.

I actually think the committee is going to bail itself out and go with the 4 league champions.

1 - Bama
2 - Oregon
3 - FSU
4 - tOSU

Leave out TCU and Baylor and simply say that 'Bama and Oregon were impressive league champions, FSU undefeated champion, and that tOSU proved their strength to do what they did with a 3rd string QB enough to jump both TCU and Baylor.

For what it is worth, I don't get why you HAVE to have 12 teams to play a championship game. Just let them do a 9 team regular season and have the top 2 at the end play. Use a tie-breaker if needed for a 3 team tie. That would actually be better than the current championship game setup where we typically get the best team in the conference vs. like the 4th best team in the conference who just happens to be in the weaker division of the two.

Why have week to week rankings if you are going to completely flip the script week to week. All teams won, therefore there is no reason to move anyone. If things change at all then they should just wait until the end of the season to release any type of playoff ranking. I think people are getting too caught up in margin of victory.

2 teams are gonna have a real legitimate gripe at being left out. Bama, Oregon, FSU are locks. There's just no way one of those doesn't make it. Even if FSU is in at 4, they're still a lock, IMO.

Common sense would say that last week's #3 team winning by 50+ this week would be enough to keep them in. But Baylor and Ohio St both had wins against far more impressive opponents this week.

I have no idea what's gonna happen with that last spot. I think Baylor is the least likely to get it, since they'd have to jump TCU and Ohio St this week.
