I'm more concerned with the iMac. If they give it a good overhaul with a Retina display, I'll buy a 27". If not, I'll hold out again, even if I have to break down and buy a shitty $300 laptop or something to make it to next year.

The rumors I have read say they are doing away with the glass casing altogether. The back will be a metal casing (2 tone) and the front will not have a glass panel..

I also read that a quadcore may not be guaranteed, either... Something about an A5x processor or something a step above the current one...

Larger battery for more life, 4" screen, same width, better camera (same megapixel, but improved optics)...

I'm still trying to determine if it is worth getting rid of my 4s for... If so, I'll have a verizon 4s white 16gb with case and screen protector (excellent condition) for sale very soon.

it's pretty impressive that they've been able to keep this stuff under wraps as well as they have. obviously we know about the 4g and bigger screen, but the specific specs (redundant?) are still a mystery. i guess they threaten leakers with penalty of death

or, they purposely leak things to spur interest in the months and weeks leading up to the announcement
