my eyes aren't the problem for every other monitor I use at home and at work

all of a sudden a new monitor comes in, and my eyes are the problem, despite the fact the other monitors are still fine

i did a service call this past week and someone who had bought one of the hanns g monitors we sell at the store complained of a pink tint.... i googled it and it's a known issue for that monitor. so i suspect the same thing could be true of yours.

i doubt you did all the switching around i told you to do to eliminate the monitor itself so it def could be the monitor.

well anyway, this is an Acer, and the one I had returned with the same problem is an Asus

I can only assume, then, that it's something about the nature of LED backlighting

but I don't know

whatever it is, it's annoying as shit

no one should pay hundreds of dollars for a monitor and it not be really good quality

they are both LED

all other non-LED monitors have not been a problem

I just noticed that the tint is reddish (on the setting that I currently have it on) at the top portion of the screen, but when I drag what was on the top down near the bottom, it seems closer to normal
