I just wish there was someone there to stop me before I mixed the baking soda in I ended up having to get all my hair chopped off, stripped, and then dyed a more natural color. It was awful.

I think the color and your skin tone look great dropdeadkate It's probably the change that shocks you

oh jesus thanks for the warning

i'll just try some dandruff shampoo and see if that helps. if not, oh well. i hate when i fry my hair and it gets all gross and damaged.

If you just want your color to diminish, I would also recommended just waiting. It'll go down after a few washes.

I have recommended this before, but for a red, brown, or black hair dye I recommend Surya Henna cream. I'm a long time hair dye addict and I used every box in the entire drug store. I also paid $Texas at a salon, which was pretty good. but surya is the only product that leaves my hair feeling as soft as it was before. It's great! I got it from Whole Foods, any of the organic grocery stores will carry it in the cosmetic section.

So, two things

I had no idea conditioner that puts color back into your hair existed. <3 Murre Root (or whatever) by Aveda.

The DJ yesterday totally thought my hair was naturally red. TAKE THAT, HATERS

samwise, your hair looks great!!

i was a bottle-red head for 5 years and loved it. everyone thought mine was natural too (including a doctor who warned me about a perscription that might make me sensitive to light because of my "haircolor" & complexion, lol)

then i moved too many times and couldnt get the color right anymore so i quit and went back to my natural color

have fun and enjoy it. forget the haters

maintenance is a pain in the ass though. if you can i would recommend using shampoo & conditioner that doesn't have any sulfates in it. thats what i have to use now with my keratin treatment and its so much better for your hair. i have to think it would keep your color from washing out as quickly

Haha brainy. I still have friends that work at Saks

I love La Mer. The moisturizer is the bomb.com. I wore it a lot when I worked there but now I'm all out of my samples. I may have to get more. My coworker kept asking if I was getting laid because I was glowing

I bruise super easy. Arnicare gel works for me, although I have not had to use it for hickeys.

Yup, it's in with the muscle rubs or first aid or something.

I was sceptical at first, but I tried it after I rammed the bike footpeg into my leg (or maybe it was my knee after hitting the cabinent, both happen a lot) and it worked. Put it on a couple times a day like the package says for best results, but it doesn't smell so having it on isn't a big deal.

that is just so awesome, Casey!! I tried putting some gray streaks in my hair but it just ended up being a blond color. I did what the hair people told me to do too.

has anyone tried this? st. tropez bronzing mousse? i have heard/seen great things and all of the online reviews are pretty stellar. it is like $40 though...but i mean...if it works as well as it appears to i'm thinking of taking the plunge.

wanted to see if anyone here has tried it. i have one friend who has, and she looked great. and then i've read online reviews.
