It is odd that chickpeas are also officially known as garbanzo beans. Are there any other foods that have two real names? I know a lot have dialectal nicknames but I can't think of any others that have two names in English. The closest I can think of is eggplant very occasionally being called aubergine, or squash being called courgettes.

If I could remember specific details of the one from the night before last, I'd post it (lots of gun fighting), but I'm not rehashing last night's.

The combination of nightmares and semi-consciousness with bouts of sleep paralysis has not been fun.

I'm wondering if some of the moral battles I've been having since this weekend have anything to do with it. I feel like in my current situation, I should do something for myself for once, but the gentleman in me says I shouldn't get involved (I know that's really vague).
