i've played all the sports games from ea for 07 and i have own tiger woods, madden, did have ncaa, and nhl...

we play nhl and college hoops 2k7 all the time...

fight night was great too if you've never played it...

as far as anything else, if you like fps's at all, then get gears of war, its a must have

Finished Gears of War & Call of Duty 3 campaigns over the weekend. I have to say I liked both a lot... but I had more fun playing Call of Duty 3. I just am not impressed with GOW's actually gameplay, mainly the over the shoulder gunsight, and there really isn't much of a story to follow. I prefer a straightforward FPS. Call of Duty 3 on the other hand tries to incorporate too much story as the series always does History is boring except for the gunfights!

So pretty much I tried to get into the GOW story, but couldn't... and I tried to skip the COD 3 storyline, but couldn't. Both are worth at least a rental though. The multiplayer on both is pretty fun, but I haven't played enough to give a good opinion.

I bought NBA 2k7 yesterday and im having trouble adjusting to the controls from regular Xbox

the shot stick on defense makes him go all over the place and trying to juke or drive the lane never works

but the game looks good as hell

Call of Duty 3... I just noticed the other night that when you look down your scope the focus goes blurry around what would be your peripheral vision... It's an extremely small detail that isn't really noticable but I just found it amazing. I'm easily amused.

wait till Brother in Arms: Hells Highway comes out. NOW THATS AMAZING! watch the long gameplay video...its really awesome...a lot of motion blurr. Also when you move around the gun is no longer anchored to you like most/all FPS'. It simulates your arms moving...so when you rotate around to look behind you the gun moves off center...so its not always pointed in the center of your screen. hard to explain i think i just complicated it lol

i was thining bout buying crackdown anyways, made by the dude who originally made gta3, and Im a sucker for co-op. after the way co-op in gears was received, full co-op modes should become the norm
