i just dont get why they spent so much time building up "kara thrace and her special destiny" when all that happened was she zoned out and flew into a cloud that reminded her of something she painted on her wall. I know they will explain more later on, at least i hope they do, but this episode was really anticlimactic for me.

Shes either a cylon or there really was a raider and it picked her up.

Although going back to season 1 when Baltar setup the cylon detector, it did work on boomer so you'd think he'd know atleast who out of the major players were cylons. Even if he didn't get through the entire fleet I'd imagine Adama would have him test galactica personel first.

Also making her a cylon would be pretty god damned lame.

My money is on the "she escaped into a raider" theory, because we saw a raider from the view inside Lee's cockpit.

However, I would prefer it if she just went crazy and was really dead.

Well, its obvious that she got into the raider.

You see the raider from Lee

You see her reach for the eject handle

You see the radar get totally jammed instead of just fuzzy. Thats why they could not see anything.

And the show needs a twist other than, OMFG ONE OF THE MAJOR CHARACTERS IS A CYLON.

they now have that with, season 4-6, episode 1, OMFG KARA IS ALIVE!!11

oh btw, that ship adama destroyed...wasn't a prop, it was an actual musuem quality piece worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, adama improvised it being destroyed without knowing the actually cost of it

Starbuck was far more screwed up than I anticipated, they really went all out to make her in to a psycho.

It's odd though they'd set her up with a whole destiny just to kill her off.

It may just be me, but the BSG story is becoming a tad too fragmented and non-cohesive.

they are getting away from what made the first 2 seasons great, the simplicity of the chase. but there really is no way to do an extended series with just that formula to come back to. Im optimistic about that fact that the next season will be fewer episodes because i think it will give the writers more of a sense of urgency when they make up these story lines.

I still don't get what the significance of the Final Five is and why the cylons don't know who they are.
