so long as you know you can fix whatever you do to the place before you move out, and the smell* won't get you in trouble, a vented closet is fine - cheap k-mart mirrors work well for reflection, failing that, tin foil works too.

you can get mylar off ebay for pretty cheap...reflects like 99.8 percent...tin foil is a cheaper easier solution but only reflects at like 65-70%

yeah shit honestly white walls reflect a pretty good amount as well...if its drywall its prolly good enough if you got the right wattage light...if not then put printing paper up on the walls
