they kept saying a tipped shot, but i dont think the puck hit the defensemen's blade. i think the stick hit the defensmen's on the follow through of the shot.

Actually BoobsR_gr8 is correct in his core argument, that the Canes need to do better on defense. The Canes did enough to win, but Ward stood on his head. They're not going to get too much farther in the playoffs if they count on Cam to clean up all their sloppy turnovers and weak clears.

the entire team has become much more defensively minded, there has been a huge change in the way they play.

our liabilities in our zone are cullen and williams, and sometimes brindamour
then aaron ward seems to always be in front of the goalies so they cant see........kaberle stops moving once he hits the offensive blue line
vasicek gets it to the outside slots in the offensive zone and becomes an invalid

outside of those points...go canes!!!!!!!!

BTW, Lacroix makes Montreal look stupid on the goalie trading front AGAIN.

As for the earlier comment that Cam can't carry the team through the playoffs...he certainly can if he maintains his level of play. Many goalies over the years have carried defensively prone teams through the playoffs.
