Got it today. Seems fine. Pings are just a little bit higher on average in WoW (probably because the connection is really coming from St. Louis and I'm on an east coast server).

The UI on the tv is light years ahead of twc.

^I think it's technically a variant of DSL, my pings are about 30 more than TWC and 20 less than normal DSL to the same servers.

I like that they are moving FSC to U200. It was one of the only reasons I was getting U300 to begin with. Now if they would pick up the HD feed I would be very happy.

oh definitely not. that stupid system didn't work for me...think i signed up with a couple different email addresses too just to be sure.

actually i did get someone come to my door trying to sell service, within a few weeks of it becoming available. i had just signed up via the web though...not sure which way would have been cheaper. i know with TWC at least you could get better deals through the door-to-door people...

i will say this, U-Verse is NOT for you if you're 1 of 3 (or more) roommates in a single house (like Str8BacardiL). he hates U-Verse, but it's not U-Verse's fault. he is just mad that he only has 4 streams at a time, and with that many people living in a house, all watching their TVs at the same time, there's no way you can record anything because you've constantly got all the other TVs in the house live-streaming. and so, if someone wants to watch HD, it'll kick someone else off their HD channel. with that many people, TWC is the way to go.

other than that, AT&T rocks my socks

Plus, does Monkey Time or The Experience still run on Raleigh's public access? TWC was only feeding me stupid ass cary's gov't channel but with u-verse you can get public access channels from around the triangle. Not incredibly awesome, but still.

Yeah, you can stream RTN I believe, along with public access channels in cary, morrisville, chapel hill, and other surrounding areas. I'm gonna check when I get home, I used to love to laugh my ass off at that guy.

Shit it might just be RTN11..I hope I can get RTN10, that's where all the cray cray public shows are.

AT&T came out today and reran copper from the curb to a newly installed NID that they placed on the side of my house. The tech said this is in preparation for my install on Saturday.

The tech go here at 11am. Setup two TVs and internet and left at 11:45. No problems. I ran CAT5 everywhere last spring and he used a the coax that was feeding the TWC cable modem to feed the RG from the NID. No wires cut or anything.
