Versus is blacked out locally in the Raleigh area in favor of FSCarolinas coverage (which was on 445 last night I believe). Had no problem watching it in Raleigh. If your FSC was blacked out, you should call Dish and make sure they know where you are.

Also, I'd like to watch the game out somewhere tomorrow since we don't have cable. Where are people watching this? The only place I ever go for sporting events is Playmakers/Brick House/whatever it's called.

Damon's was closed by the gov't since the owner didn't want to pay taxes. It is now a Backyard Bistro, I think. Playmakers is now the Brick House.

^^ It's open as "Backyard Bistro" now. We went there for Game 1, not impressed, and they must have been pissed at Vulcan91 and I, because they charged our cards twice for our meals/drinks. Will not be going back in the forseeable future, damn sure not until I get the double charge refunded.

Oh and as far as atmosphere I realize the place had just opened and maybe not many folks were aware it was open, but the place was deserted. Maybe 30 people in the entire establishment, we were about 6 of them, and probably 6/10 of what was there specifically to watch the game.

I thought mine was average/slightly above average. Heard some complaints from others and some good things too. I think a lot can be attributed to the fact they had just opened, but the double charging shit is completely unacceptable and shows me they don't know what the hell is going on.

^^ i went there for game...4 i believe. ended up leaving early b/c the place was empty and the food was way too expensive for what they brought out to you.

also, on a side note, my bruise from game 6 now looks like a heart.

I will probably give Backyard Bistro another shot some time, don't know about during these playoffs, though. I don't think the credit card thing was their fault; I called them again yesterday to check on it and they did a reasonable job of deflecting blame onto the company that processes their payments. The setup in there is still great like it was at Damon's with good projection screens and the volume knobs at each table (if they work). I think people will start going as they start realizing it is open. The beer they brewed and served with a pretzel and cheese was kind of cool I guess, but the food was not that great. Hopefully they will improve over time because there NEEDS to be a restaurant and bar in that location.

See, the problem is, I have the ALL HD package, grandfathered into it when it started and do NOT get FSCR... So, since I dont get fox sports, and VS blacks out the games I am FUCKED. I watch all games by stream on the PS3. And the Canes/NJ series has been pitiful for streams.

Anyone else have a similar situation with DISH?

I was there and my card got double charged also, but my tab was extremely high from drinks and food so imagine how angry I was. I called and I just checked online today and it still isn't fixed. I went in there and Joe the owner gave me VIP tickets for the triangle beach music festival which was awesome and saved my 30 bucks each and it was all I can eat and drink all day long under that huge tent. I will be pissed if it still isn't back in my account by Wednesday since they said the CC company processed it Friday. He was very embarassed about this whole problem, some of his women that work there aren't really showing they care that this even happened. Good luck to you, I will go back next series if we make it.
