Yeah, it's not exactly a thrilling documentary. But probably interesting to the moms on TWW.

I'm watching Killer Klowns from Outer Space right now.

Holy moly this movie used to scare me sooo much

But it's so silly. Great 80s B-horror movie.

Watched "The American Hobo" the other night. Pretty decent, it starts off really slow though. The people they interview are really interesting...VPs and CEOs of big companies who ride the rails and are really hobos at heart.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but if you haven't seen it on Comedy Central, Dmitri Martin's "Important Things" is freaking hilarious. They just added Season 2 a week or so ago.

The Vice Guide to Travel is really good. A couple episodes are a little dry (Vodka Wars) but the ones about Chernobyl, North Korea, and Pakistan are great. They go to an illegal arms market in Pakistan and purchase guns that are made by hand by these guys in shacks for a fraction of what it would cost in the US. Then they get to go up to the rooftop and try them out by shooting randomly into the hillside.

i hate the new netflix instant watch home page

am i alone in this?

if i switch back and forth from tv/blu ray to my computer a lot it doesn't always "resume" the right episode. so now i have to search for the tv show every time instead of the old way it used to be where i just clicked a picture of what i recently watched and it took me to the show screen. now the picture tries to "resume" whatever episode it thinks you were watching. but it isn't always accurate and it is annoying.

plus, it doesn't tell you what episode you were on when you scroll over it. it just gives a synopsis of the show. resume what episode? i don't know it has been 3 days since i last watched i don't remember where i was ughhh.

Poolhall Junkies was much better than I thought it would be. It doesn't make a whole lot of effort to go beyond the whole Swingers meets The Hustler/Color of Money concept, but it wasn't terribly predictable.

I finally watched Silence of the Lambs.

Hopkins, of course, was great. I didn't buy Jodie Foster's accent but she did a good job of acting disgusted when she got semen slung at her face.

Anyone seen Black Death?

A time piece about the plague I guess? Sean Benn, from Game of Thrones, is in it. As is Carice van Houten, who I am in love with.

Does anyone use their Wii for instant watch?

Obvious downside is that there isn't HD, but I thought I could set my parents up with the console I never use anymore.

God Grew Tired of Us was amazing.. watched it a few weeks ago

Quote :
"In 1987, Sudan's Muslim government pronounced death to all males in the Christian south: 27,000 boys fled to Ethiopia on foot. In 1991, they were forced to flee to Kenya; 12,000 survived to live in a U.N. camp in Kakuma. Archival footage documents the 1,000 mile flight; we see life in the camp. We follow three young men who repatriate to the U.S. "
- IMDB

The best parts are when they are assimilated into US culture and are fascinated by things like electricity and corn flakes

No Dennis Quaid in The Horseman. It was an Austrailian production, no actor I've ever heard of before watching it.

"Carriers"

If you like post apocalyptic movies that focus on the situation/characters and not the horror.

^^^I heard a dude talking about when he first came to the states as a refugee.

They put him and bunch of other folks up in an apartment, and they spent several days in the dark. Finally, someone happened to come over at night and flipped the switch, and they were like, "WHAT?!??!?!"
