Narcan is a miracle drug for these people, it can literally snap them back to life from respiratory arrest.

however, I sometimes feel that addicts view Narcan as a safety net or "spotter", which allows them to go for more of a high than they otherwise normally would because they think Narcan will be there to bail them out.

but opiates are seriously destructive shit. ive seen so much death from them, young people mostly, to last a lifetime.
