That was some serious YMCA pickup basketball defense by Barnes. I assume he was instructed to trap Parker if they got the ball to him, but that idiot went to trap on the whistle. I blame Roy.

it wasn't a dumb play by barnes it was only a miscommunication.

Their plan was to switch on all screens but the screen never reached barnes so he didn't switch. the fundamental play would have been for jack to drop down with diaw but diaw slipped the screen and made it difficult to guard.

barnes did the right thing. jack messed up but this is the case of what exactly does it mean to "switch everything" and what constitutes "being screened" because the screens were set but no defenders were actually screened.

I didnt see but the first quarter but looking at the box its apparent the Westbrook injury is hurting them more from the stand point of sefoloshas minutes being limited because they need more ball handling.

Fisher and jackson have played well in replacement and martin has been good except for tonite. Durant getting more touches has obviously been huge.

The other problem is that the bigs are getting the ball too much bc fisher cant create hes just an entry pass guy. Okc bigs are not guys you can give the ball to.

Prigioni is really freaking good and Felton has played well in the playoffs. Lets see if melo can make a shot in Indiana
