There is a way to cheese yourself to the first chest in the Crota's End raid. I really recommend you do this before the reset tomorrow.

the cheese is really easy. enter raid, go toward the light, take first left all the way to the door. if there is an orange light above the door, the chest is there. if not, die and repeat until chest spawns. took me 5 tries. took a friend over 20 tries.

I read the cheese and jumped into crotas end to try it out before it reset

It is possible to get more than shards and energies from the 1st chest in Crotas End. I got a Last Word Exotic hand Cannon max damage 331 this morning.

Also I read that the new Raid Weapons/Gear will require 20+ Radiant Energies/Shards to fully upgrade one item. Thats a shit ton of raiding to level up to 32

i tried the iron banner last night for the first time. i thought it would be super competitive, but i was actually killing it with my lvl 29 warlock. i didnt even have a really powerful weapon, only a rare auto rifle. i wonder if i can get up to rank 5 in a week...

Sawlt and I put an end to Crota just now. I got a legendary fusion rifle, armor shader, and an emblem. Met some nice British fellows on the lfg that showed us a health cheat and a cheese where Crota never stops kneeling. If done properly Crota should only take around 10 minutes or so.

the issue with this game is that there isn't enough content. The heavy players get done with all the shit that Bungie has put out and then have weeks and weeks with absolutely nothing to do. So how does Bungie counteract that? Not by creating more stuff...but by creating more loops for you to jump through. 21 shards to upgrade one item? Has anyone played the new missions where you have to do like 5 different things? I'm not one to complain because I'm still playing and still enjoying.

completed Crota last night. Kind of underwhelmed really. I enjoyed Vault of Glass a lottt more on the first one through. Got some arc machine gun and raid boots.

(plus there's a cheese for like literally every part of the new raid)

Would be crota. Problem is I prolly won't be getting home before....9:45 or so. Could start then, but that means we prolly wouldn't be in a group and starting the actual raid for another 15-30 minutes.

Finally found the Husk auto rifle from one of the Blades of Crota on the Moon. Already have it fully leveled up. Just need to get to level 3 with Eris Morn to get the Embalming Orb to turn it into a Legendary.

By the way equipping it when you turn in bounties will not gain you any progress. I was able to get a lot of the progress from killing the the 3 Hive Majors in the basement of the Steppes repeatedly.
