Good to meet scotieb24 before the game started.

Good job by our bullpen again. Woeck and Easley did great. I heard Ogburn might have had a blister and that's why Avent pulled him quickly when it started to go south.

Hitting did just enough, but got the job done when it mattered.

Rodon is for sure going tomorrow. Avent didn't hesitate when asked about it.

Ogburn has been good for us all year. Yesterday was an exception to his normal outings, so I assume he would be the game 1 starter next weekend.

Either way next weekend we have options. We could go with Stone, Jernigan, Rodon. In all fairness to Ogburn tonight, he gave up some hits, but most of them were on very defensive swings. Just seemed to rattle him a bit and he got a little shaky with the strike zone. Still held them to one run though which is what matters.

It was nice to see us display a little pop finally with two HR and I don't know that I've ever seen a better catch than the one Fincher made. It is crazy how good our outfield is defensively compared to how shaky our infield has been at times.

^yea, they were saying on the radio that although he's been awesome he hasn't had the best control over his fastball tonight. Not sure if that's what has hit guys but it's probably just an anomaly. And one guy that got HBP has 20 on the season...needs to learn how to get out of the way.

only 1 of rodon's hbp was a legit plunk, the other two just inched a shade to far in on sliders.

and that had warning track written all over it, but my heart def skipped a beat as it left the infield.

From what I've read on Pack Pride, Rice has a pretty awesome stadium that can fit like 6,000 people. NCAA may go for the extra $ if Oregon does lose.
