Cincy and Tennessee didn't make the NCAA and Northwestern finished 4-14 in conference and had nine straight losses to end their season.

FGC lost in the Sweet 16...

although, I'll agree that the other teams have a richer tradition.

FGC could turn into a real program, though. Their campus/dorms are on the fucking beach front so it's no surprise how that school has grown so fast.

but they have on the brochure, tickets are less per game because of 18 home games

but I bet if we don't make the NCAA and have less home games next year, prices wont come down

Fans this season are encouraged to purchase their tickets earlier in order to take advantage of NC State's Season Ticket Incentive Program. Between September 3-16, a total of 10 prizes will be given away. There will be one drawing per business day. Among the prizes are 2014 ACC Tournament Tickets, behind-the-scenes access, ticket discounts, autographed prize packs, GoPack.com/store gift certificates and PNC Arena concessions vouchers.

All accounts purchasing season tickets by September 2 will be eligible for any of the 10 drawings and any orders placed during the drawings window will be eligible starting with the next day's drawing. Accounts are automatically entered upon placing an order.

I think the origin of the term "fan" is lost on so many people. Fan, derived from "fanatic." Fanatic doesn't describe a group of reasonable people with moderate expectations.

It's not like we don't have the history to back up our hopes, aspirations and expectations. We've had a taste of it, and I don't think it's delusional at all for us to want and expect a return to prominence one day.
