I wouldn't take it. Not worth taking a hit a 2 WR spots for what shouldn't be that much of an upgrade at RB

Question: how the fuck did you get Ray Rice, Doug Martin, Calvin Johnson, and Demaryius Thomas in a 12 team league?

[Edited on October 15, 2013 at 8:05 PM. Reason : or any league for that matter]

^I drafted Richardson, Calvin, McFadden, Gronk with my first 4 picks. Took Jordan Cameron in a later round.

I was offered Martin/Jared Cook for Gronk/Mcfadden, which I took.

Week 3 I was offered Demaryius Thomas and Steve Smith for David Wilson/James Jones/Mike Wallace by a guy that was in love with David Wilson.

Then I offered Trent Richardson for Ray Rice after the trade from the browns.

It's not a league of experts by any means, but I am Sitting at 3-3.

Maybe its just me but does anyone else think this year is incredibly frustrating and peculiar when it comes to Running backs?

non star RBs obviously i.e. Peterson, Gore, etc.

Yahoo has Miami's defense this week projected to be about the 16th best in the league, but with a hobbled Thad Lewis and overrated immobile Matt Flynn brought in, I think they could have a solid game...I'm rollin with em this week

Should I drop Geno and Pick up Glennon for my flex position?

^ I like Geno better than Glennon at this point.

I'm in a PPR where you can start up to 4 WR each week (two WR/RB/TE flex spots). I have Dez, Desean Jackson, Blackmon, J Nelson as my starters right now. I have Harvin stashed. I also have Edelman and Boldin, who I don't see starting anytime soon.

Should I drop Edelman and/or Boldin and pick up higher upside Keenan Allen or get some RB depth with B Jacobs or J Randle (I have Bush, Sproles, Moreno and just traded for Spiller)?

^ I would def drop Edelman for Allen.

Guy in my keeper league keeps coming after Demaryius Thomas. It is my first time participating in a keeper league (took over an abandoned team). We start 2 rb, 2 wr, and a flex and can have up to 3 keepers (you can keep anyone drafted in 4th round or later for next years pick 1 round earlier).

The trade he offered is:

I give:
Demaryius Thomas ( I can keep him next year for a 4th round pick)
Jermichael Finley

I get:
Hakeem Nicks (he was a 5th round pick this year)
Choice of Gio Bernard (6th round pick this year) or Trent Richardson (kept as 3rd rd this year)
Marques Colston

My team as of right now is:
WR Thomas
WR Reggie Wayne
WR Mike Wallace
WR Denarious Moore
RB Ray Rice
RB Demarco Murray
RB Bilal Powell
RB BGE
RB Joseph Randle
TE Gronk
TE Finley

This is trade is tempting, but I'm not sure. If I do it, do I take Richardson or Gio?

nahhh i'd keep your guys.

you get a HUGE loss at WR going to Nicks, even if he does get traded and you dont need the depth at RB.

Keep the guys you have...the only way I would trade Thomas would be for Brees, Manning or an elite RB.

on that note
what QB to play this week:
henne vs SD
tannenhill vs BUF
flacco vs PIT
geno smith vs NE
freeman vs NYG

I have Blackmon and Jacoby Jones...so its essentially double points if they get TDs from a QB.
thoughts?

Keenan Allen v Jags

Some guy wants to trade me Eric Decker and Jared Cook for Julius Thomas. I am 99% sure that is a losing deal for me but seeing as this is my first real year playing ff I figured I would ask here before I declined it.

It depends on who your WRs are, but most likely you're going to take a bigger hit downgrading from Thomas to Cook at tight end than you'll receive by upgrading from your current WR2/3 to Decker.

I think your instinct is right to reject.

I agree. Aside from week 1, Cook has been a flop. You'd essentially be trading Thomas straight up for Decker. That's a no-go

Speaking of Rams players, I just picked up Zac Stacy. My other RBs are Trent Richardson and Chris Johnson. I don't know a damn thing about Stacy, I mainly picked him up so nobody else could. Should I start him over Johnson??

Yeah my WRs are decent (were better before Cobb broke his leg...) and I don't have a good TE replacement, just a replacement for Denver's bye. My other WRs are Antonio Brown, Kenbrell Thompkins, and Vincent Jackson with Ted Ginny Jr for when someone is on a bye.

I'd say no as well. Having Cook on my team you'd just be signing yourself up for watching Lance Kendricks catching all the TDs, Pettis and no-name WR X catching all the yards, every week thinking "this is the week" and weeks where Sam Bradford sucks and takes everyone with him.

Julius Thomas is the one consistent target for Manning. Decker will always be 20 or 2 point potential. Not even worth the debate every week as to whether or not to start him.

No go.

I picked up Zac Stacy and he has been decent the last couple of weeks. I dont know if I would start him this week playing at Carolina though

my turn, 0.5ppr, pick two RB and one W/R flex out of this group:

Lamar Miller vs. Buffalo
LeVeon Bell vs. Balt
CJ Spiller @ Miami
Joseph Randle @ Philly
Keenan Allen @ Jax

"A source tells NFL Network that Percy Harvin (hip) will resume practicing next week.

Advice: Since the Seahawks play the Thursday night game this week and the Monday nighter in Week 8, they'll have a ton of down time. It provides an excellent window for Harvin to test out his surgically-repaired hip and start working his way back into football shape.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, he should play in games "sooner rather than later." This report comes on the heels of whispers that Harvin is well ahead of schedule and extremely optimistic quotes from coach Pete Carroll.

It sounds like Harvin is a good bet to play before the Week 12 bye, making him a must-own in all formats. If truly healthy, there isn't a more dangerous player with the ball in his hands in the entire league."

Would you bench Larry Fitzgerald tonight vs. Seahawks in favor of any of the following waiver wire WRs?

Vincent Brown @ Jags
Kris Durham vs. Bengals
Kendall Right vs. 49ers
Emmanuel Sanders vs. Ravens
Robert Woods @ Dolphins
Michael Floyd vs Seahawks
Brandon Lafell vs. Rams
Jarrett Boykin vs Browns?

Eh. I prefer Fitzgerald over those guys even with the bad match up tonight.

Thoughts on this trade offer:

I give Gronk for Amendola and Witten. I don't love Amendola just because of his injury issues. But I could use the TE help. I had Owen Daniels till he got hurt. Now I'm just waiting for Gronk.to get healthy. Start 3 WRs...my WRs are Antonio Brown, Calvin.Johnson, Cecil Shorts (short), TY Hilton, Golden Tate...0.5 PPR.

He also has Roddy White, who I could ask for instead of Amendola

^PPR or non-PPR?

Here the issue with Amendola. When Gronk comes back, Amendola's catches will go down. So even if Amendola can stay on the field, his touches will go down regardless. Not to mention that Brady seems to be getting more and more comfortable with Thompkins and Dobson. And I like Witten if it's a PPR, non-PPR he's really up and down and doesn't seem to find the endzone as much as he should. I don't think you're in dire need of a WR, so personally I think I'd pass on it. You've waited this long on Gronk, might as well hold on a little longer and have potentially a top 3 TE.

Think I know what I want to do with this, but figured I'd ask to get some feed back.

2-QB league. Pick 2 of the following:
Andrew Luck vs. Denver
Matthew Stafford vs. Cincy
Jay Cutler @ Washington

Right now have Luck and Cutler in, but feel weird leaving Stafford on the bench, esp. after a strong performance from him last week and Luck doing a bunch of nothing. Though I think Luck vs. Manning could be interesting, could see Indy trying to grind it out and keep Manning off the field, and could see Luck trying to keep up in a shootout.

Need some advice on a potential trade. I have been trying to work out a deal with this guy for the past few days, and so far no luck. Up to this point, the main focus for me had been to acquire Bernard. Our league is standard, and we start 2 RBs and 3 WRs. Today he made me the following offer;

Calvin Johnson and Vernon Davis for Arian Foster and Rueben Randle

My team:
QB: Vick, Foles, Eli Manning
WR: Calvin Johnson, Vincent Jackson, Justin Blackmon, Michael Floyd, Golden Tate, Emanuel Sanders, Jerome Simpson
RB: Frank Gore, Trent Richardson, Bilal Powell, Willis Mcgahee
TE: Vernon Davis, Charles Clay

His Team:
QB: RG3
WR: Brandon Marshall, Reggie Wayne, Rueben Randle, Denarius Moore, Jarrett Boykin, Marlon Brown
RB: Arian Foster, Matt Forte, Gio Bernard, Eddie Lacy, Ben Tate, Joseph Randle
TE: Garrett Graham, Tim Wright

In regards to the trade, I think his current offer isn't very good for me. What would be a reasonable counter? As you can see, he is stacked at RB and thats what I need...

Anybody have any advice on the trade scenarios I listed above? The just added all of his runnings backs and Reggie Wayne to the trading block. He wants WRs and TEs...

Who should I target? And which of my WR's should I give up? I'm hesitant to give up Vernon Davis, should I be?

OK I have a filthy set of WR's and have no idea who to start this weekend - pick 3

DeSean Jackson vs DAL
Vincent Jackson @ GB
Josh Gordon vs MIN
Keenan Allen @ JAX
Hakeem Nicks @ ATL

Anyone want to argue against the following:
VJ has me worried because of Glennon and being on the road @ ATL
Josh Gordon has been beast mode as of late but can I trust the Browns?

My team:
WR: Calvin Johnson, Vincent Jackson, Justin Blackmon, Michael Floyd, Golden Tate, Emanuel Sanders, Jerome Simpson
RB: Frank Gore, Trent Richardson, Bilal Powell, Willis Mcgahee
TE: Vernon Davis, Charles Clay

His Team:
WR: Brandon Marshall, Reggie Wayne, Rueben Randle, Denarius Moore, Jarrett Boykin, Marlon Brown
RB: Arian Foster, Matt Forte, Gio Bernard, Eddie Lacy, Ben Tate, Joseph Randle
TE: Garrett Graham, Tim Wright

He has offered 2 potential trades;

1 - I give Calvin Johnson and Vernon Davis for Arian Foster and Reuben Randle

2 - I give Calvin Johnson and Justin Blackmon for Arian Foster, Reggie Wayne, and Reuben Randle

Thoughts on either of these? I'm a little worried about trading 2 of my 3 starting WRs...

Just picked up Gronk off the waiver wire in one of my leagues (not sure how he was still sitting there). I already have Jimmy Graham and we're just allowed to play 1 TE but I like the idea of no one else having him. At the very least he could be trade bait in a couple of weeks. I'm just afraid he might screw me this week if he doesn't play since Graham is on bye.
