I was going to sell AC Black Flag along with some others I never play, but it turns out it's really fun. Spent about 14 hr playing and am only 1/3 of the way through the story. Still have tons of extra things to do too. It does lag a fair bit to be next-gen. I mostly notice it when boarding ships.

We had a LAN party at work the other day and one guy brought Mordor for PS4. It's the first game that I think looks next-gen. About as good as Skyrim on PC with mods. Another guy has it on 360 and said it was a night-and-day difference.

Only have Black Flag and Rayman on Xbox now. Most of my games are on PS4.

xbox announced tv and cod three years ago and got killed...lets see what the reaction is to sony

really though, interesting to see COD switch up and offer first access to the ps4 now. sony wasnt joking around with their money this generation. COD has gotten stale for me, but it will be a big mainstream pick up.

kinda makes me sad cause COD was always considered an "xbox franchise" even if it was multiplatform.

If they are going to allow Xbox Live Support for 360 games I wonder how well the multiplayer will work. I would love to try Crysis 2 and BF3 on console with a system that can produce an acceptable frame-rate.

just got $175 for my xbox 360 (250gb) in trade-in value at best buy towards a new xbox one.

i wanted to get the 1 TB halo edition, but for some reason they weren't getting them in stock tomorrow like their site claimed, and my trade in credit was only good this week, so i ended up getting the white xbox one that came out last month.

planning on getting a big external drive for it anyway, i mainly just wanted to guarantee newer hardware for the console to get any improvements they might have made that firmware wouldn't cover.

hopefully xbox one was the right pick over ps4.

I mean even it is by Christmas, it'll probably just be that initial list of games they released and not much else. Wonder how long it's going to take them to do this and what developers are going to be resistant to it? They said they had to get permission from the developers and that they would handle the rest, but I could see some not liking that idea since it won't actually generate any revenue for them.

The main problem is, it took them so long to patch the game to an "okay" quality that the playerbase vanished. At this point competitive ranks wont work because there are too few players in the playlists.

Online co-op won't work either as there is game-breaking input lag for the offhost player(s).

Just a shame that once great games are handled so poorly, and that they still make money off it. IGN 10/10.

I tried a Mass Effect disc but it didn't read it. I'm assuming a patch is needed.

Backward compatibility is set for general release in the Fall. You have to be a "Preview Member" to have access right now. This an invite only program. Another member can invite you, but MS has to approve the invite and you will get a notification on your Xbox One. I had somebody add me, but never got the MS invitation.

It will also be available only for certain games. They also need permissions from the developer before they can enable backwards compatibility with each game. Not all games will have it.
