Planning on starting Fitzpatrick (@NYG)...should I go with Stafford (v GB) or Cutler (v SF) instead? I figure Rivers (v Denver) might not be the best play.

^i believe what i read was that he was expected to miss "about a month"...so maybe best case he'd be healthy by championship week of fantasy playoffs.

^^i'd go stafford. but i don't think cutler would be a bad play either.

HOU D @ BUF or NYJ D @ NYG?

^ so you like them both more than Fitzmagic against the NYG's league-leading shittiest defense? They're allowing 420 yards per game (309 passing). I've got Decker too...not sure if that matters.

^ Houston.

Quote :
"Winners of four-straight, the (5) Houston Texans (at Buffalo) have resurrected their defense and allowed an incredible 8.8 points per game over their last four contests. In fact, the Houston defense has allowed only two touchdowns in their last 18 quarters of play. Houston’s Week 13 opponent, Buffalo, doesn’t throw the ball often which will cap the potential of the Texans D/ST this week, but this group should be started right now no matter the opponent as they lead the NFL in scoring defense over the last five weeks and are second in both pass and run defense over that same period."

^sorry man, misread your question. for me it would be between stafford and fitzpatrick. given the matchup i think i would lean fitzpatrick. stafford always scares me as he can be boom or bust plus the thursday night games can be kinda ugly (even though i'm starting him this week)

Agreed. Go with Fitz.

RB: Should I start Chizzard West (coming off a Hamstring and may be splitting time), or E. Lacy (coming off a shitty first half of the season, but played well last week).

WR: Need 2
Amari Cooper (vs KC)
A. Robinson (@Tenn)
Maclin (@Oak)

I like Cutler.

Sure Carr has been putting up some great numbers, but the KC defense is pretty damn stout.

Cutler has SF who allow 277 yards per game, 5th from last in the NFL.

[Edited on December 3, 2015 at 12:14 AM. Reason : There's a shitload of QB's I'd start over Carr]

@Chicago too. The 49ers' defense has been respectable at home. Cutler could carve them up this weekend though.

I've had LeFell for a while but haven't played him bc he's not producing much (drops mostly I think), but if Amendola is actually out this week, would he be worth a start over say a Jarvis Allen in the flex? The matchup against the trainwreck that is Philly's D is pretty appealing.

Then again Allen has a great matchup against Miami's league-leading shitty run-D. Maybe stick with the known quantity.

[Edited on December 3, 2015 at 12:34 PM. Reason : ^ yeah that too]

[Edited on December 3, 2015 at 12:53 PM. Reason : Got Decker and Robinson starting at WR but I can't imagine LeFell would take one of their spots]

hopefully they'll just abandon the run and let Aaron throw it another 20 times during this comeback

at this point, I'd be thrilled with 250 and 1TD

LOL, folks were super encouraging about my Manziel/Romo combo finally coming together (ie., actually playing).

Then they both went out, and I was supposed to pick up Cassel to replace Romo...couldn't get him cause I dropped him in the same waiver period. So I dropped the "3rd string" Manziel for Mark Sanchez (LOL).

Of course, I can't pick up the now-likely-to-start Manziel now cause I dropped him during whatever that fucking period is.

So Brock Osweiler and Austin Davis are fitting to wreck shit this weekend.

My league is so much fun!

I'm honestly unsure of who to start. Draughn, Forte, or Charcandrick West. I also have Matt Jones on the bench. Forte and west are splitting time with Langford and Ware so I don't want a dud like Lacy was yesterday. Matt Jones has his moments. I guess Draughn is a must start.

Matt Jones shouldn't even be in the conversation. I'm assuming this is a PPR league?

Draughn is the safest play. He gets nearly every single snap at RB for the 49ers.

I think West should out touch Ware this week, especially in the passing game, although ware will probably vulture some red zone opportunities. Forte seems like a lost cause to me now, what with backfield by committee champion John Fox as his coach.

I'm starting West & Draughn this week over Bernard and Andrews and Duke Johnson.

0.5 ppr, Dez or LaFell?

Like LaFell's match-up, but he hasn't scored a TD yet or had a big game. Dez is Dez, but Cassel is throwing to him.

Thoughts?

Yah, I was thinking along the same lines but i still find it hard to bench Forte.

As far as LaFell, I would start him. I mean Amendola is most likely out and then so is Gronk, Edelman, and Dion Lewis. What else do they have in he passing game?

1st round bye is on the line so I really don't want to lose this last week

Am I crazy to bench Lamar Miller for Ted Ginn Jr. this week? Looks good on paper but like I said, it's important

Speaking of LeFell, should I start him over Javorius Allen?

[Edited on December 6, 2015 at 10:39 AM. Reason : Leaning towards sitting McFadden and starting Allen and LeFell]

He should see plenty of targets with Gronk and Edelman out, but I've got him on my bench and am starting McFadden, btw.

But man Philly's defense is bad...i dunno

McFadden is a little beat up, but has a pretty good matchup with Washington being tied with Philly in Run D...he seems to have a pretty low ceiling though. Romo being out doesn't help. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/rushing/position/defense

LaFell should see plenty of volume against a trainwreck of a defense, but never seems to do much with the volume he gets. I think have have to start him given his QB and the matchup

Also have TDs today for Draughn, Delanie Walker, And O'Dell! Gonna be a good day.

me too (plus Bortles). good thing Allen and Marshall are both balling out, but I wish I hadn't read so much about committee work cutting into Forte's workload so I wouldn't have second guessed starting him over Gurley

Fitzmagic worked out well for me today, as did Allen Robinson (42 pts) and Javorious Allen (25 pts)...having my best week ever at 136 points (a lot for our league) and still have Gates, LaFell and a kicker to go.

called Ted Ginn Jr having a big day

really he could have had two or three more TDs against Brandon Browner but he's Ted Ginn Jr/Cement-for-Hands so 21 pts is respectable and maddening at the same time
