I need to call apple and find out if my confirmation email is accurate..if it is not coming till the 5th then I will go to a store and wait in line.
Problem is that I ordered one online using my upgrade..so if I go into the store to buy one..my upgrade may not be eligible..
Does anyone know if canceling an online order will restore my upgrade eligibility?

Also..does anyone know how the lte works on AT&T? When we get our ip5 will it just work on lte and throttle us at 5g ..for people on unlimited plans?

i went into radioshack and preordered one..but still have no idea if it will be here on launch day.

Any time I've ever pre-ordered an iPad or iPhone, they've always shipped directly from China, and they've always taken about 2 1/2 days to get here.

unless the tracking information is falsified or whatever. But it's highly likely that the iPhone you will be holding in your hand on Friday could still be in pieces on an assembly line in China right now. Remember how there are always reports of yellow spots on the screen every time a new iPhone is released because the glue hasn't had time to dry? Granted, that won't be the case this time around with the new screen/glass combo.

I'm really curious as to when the Lightning adapter will be available. The website says "in October". My 5 arrives on the 21st, but essentially, I can't play music on it via the 30-pin connection in my car until that thing shows up, and I've got a nice 7 hour drive awaiting on Columbus Day weekend. I suppose I can just use my iPad instead.

yeah we both are, and both had upgrades available (we're on the same plan). the tracking number of my phone shows it in Tennessee, whereas my wife's still says its processing
