I have. I absolutely love mine. I got a Scherer 3.5lb Connector in my Gen 3 G27.

Mine came in the mail polished and was a drop in with no issues. It essentially changed the trigger from a two step trigger with a crisp break to a single stage, long pull with a slightly less crisp (but still crisp) break. I absolutely love it and EDC my Glock when feasible. The install was very easy. There are several youtube vids that will show you how easy and quick it is. If you don't like it, it's only ~$15 and you can easily change it back to factory. I noticed that my "double tap" and "triple tap" groupings improved and were consistently tighter than with the factory connector. This isn't to say that the factory connector is bad, it just requires more practice and control to master the firearm. the Scherer Connector just makes it easier to fire back to back rounds.

I've got about 600+ rounds through my connector and it's never hiccuped.

MaximaDrvr shot my glock and he wasn't dissappointed with the mod.

Granted, I shot one of his glocks that had some insane usage (I think close to 12k rounds if not more) and that trigger was both light and extremely smooth from being worn down. But that's one of the most expensive ways to mod a trigger group

I forgot to mention, the trigger reset isn't as "obvious." On my glock, it's still crisp and noticeable, but it's not as obvious. This is going to be one of the tradeoffs with a lighter connector. You'll get an improvement on trigger pull, maintain overall smoothness, however the break and reset will feel less intense. The break isn't perfect crisp like the factory trigger. In normal shooting I don't notice the difference between factory and the aftermarket connector in regards to the break and reset, however if I pull on the trigger real slow and easy, I have to acknowledge that there is a minimal difference (feels like the connector is flexing just very, very, very, slightly). Again, pulling the trigger back smooth and easy it's unnoticeable. It's only something you'll be like, "ahh, this isn't as crisp" if you are trying to notice it and are purposefully looking for the break.

I recommend going with a lighter connector in most glocks.
I have a Ghost Rocket 3.5 in one of my glocks and have no complaints. The difference is the angle at which the trigger bar impacts the connector.

The glock with the best trigger is mine with 35k rounds through it.

It is $15 and 5 minutes at most, so try it and see what you think. Some people like the crispness of factory, and some people say it doesn't change with just the connector swap.
New springs is when you really start to feel the difference in triggers.

I just came into possession of a T/C Seneca .45 muzzle loader, it looks good on the outside, but the bore is orange with rust. I've never rehabbed a rifle in shape like this before, what's the best way to clean that out?

I've been on it with Hoppes 9 and a brush and patches for a few days now, it belonged to my father-in-law, I'd like to get it back into some sort of shooting shape if possible.

Yeah carrying without a round chambered is stupid.

I remember being ordered to carry my pistol completely unloaded, living probably 30-50 yards from the base perimeter in Afghanistan, even after it had already been breached a few months earlier, resulting in a gunfight in our camp, with RPGs flying through huts and stuff. I was like, "are you fucking high? I keep a cocked and locked 1911 on my nightstand at home in new bern."

I humored them during the day or when I was with a big group. Otherwise I carried it chambered.

I shot my G26 and was pleasantly surprised at how well I shot it. I'm not a Glock fan but I got the 26 because S&W is stupid about their M&P sizing. I'm going to keep the stock parts and just polish them up a little. I'll probably still pick up a factory 3.5 connector since they're so cheap just to see what it's like, but probably won't keep it in the gun.

I just acquired a 1955 Colt Detective Special and a 1957 Colt Cobra. While I have a standard duty weapon and an ankle gun, I would like to qualify with one of the two for a tribute to the two members of my family who carried them. There seems to be a lot of confusion on the forums about +p in arms of this era. I would prefer to carry +p but not at the expensive of the gun.

Any recommendations on the use of +p or a good defense round in standard pressure? I believe Speer LE makes a 125 or 135 standard.

Safariland has thumb break models that easily incorporate into the draw stroke.

While we should never be in a hurry to re-holster, I find that reholstering into a straight kydex model can make me..uneasy, particularly on new equipment.

Highly recommend Safariland.

I'm looking a cheap 9mm just to fuck around with. I found a hi-point c9 for $154. I youtubed it and if you fire the more expensive ammo it fires well. Has anyone had any personal experience with this brand/type? Or have any other suggestions?

^ Hi Points, despite their cheapness, both in price and construction, seem to work. They're way too heavy, the magazine capacity sucks, they're ugly, but they go bang when you pull the trigger and shoot straight. They also have the best warranty in the business. If it doesn't work, they'll fix it; no questions asked. You can run the thing over with your car, film it, send the company the video of you doing it, and they'll still fix it for free.

They're not best-in-class guns. Nevertheless, they work and they're cheap. I'm not going to take it to war, but if I run across one during the zombie apocalypse, I'm not going to leave it on the ground when the alternative is being unarmed. That should be a nice holster. My duty holster is basically the same thing with the addition of the SLS hood. I think the ALS is easier to draw than something like the index button on a Blackhawk serpa. Now that I think about it, it was pretty stupid of me to get a serpa when I recently bought my Glock...

I need a scope for my Mosin Nagant 91/30.

It currently has 1" scope rings. Sadly, my old Millet SP1 bit the bullet (pun intended) and so now I'm looking to replace it with a LER scope. Looking for something sturdy and reasonably priced. I'd get another Millet SP1, but reviews of recently produced Millet SP1s suggest that product quality has diminished. I'm not looking to zoom more than 4x. just something that makes shooting up to 200 yards easier and more consisent.

^I'm pretty much a noob, but from what I can find, it looks like it's not that common an issue? I saw something like 4%, and it can be fixed by replacing the ejector spring(?) I had previously held the 870 and the Mossberg 500 at Dick's, and the 870 felt a lot more solid. The 500 felt a little cheap/rattly.

A Ranger overheard someone giving us bad advice and approached us when the other guy left. He said to go for the Maverick 88 if it was available, but for the price, we couldn't go wrong with the Remington.

Idk where the 4% stat came from, but that is stupidly high. That's one in every 25. If I was in charge of firearms purchases for a law enforcement agency and 12 out of the 300 guns I bought were defective then I'd pitch a pretty damn big fit.

That said, I've owned both and only have the 500 now. I know some people who've put tens of thousands of rounds each through 870s without problems or with only a few broken parts (when you shoot 80k rounds it's ok to break one ejector). I mainly got rid of the 870 because I didnt need two shotguns and I'm just not a Remington fan. They cheap out on small parts and don't bother to fix the issues because they know so many more joe blows (who aren't using their guns enough to break something) will keep on buying them. That's just an opinion...
