I needed one in a pinch, because I was lazy and forgot, and went to the jiffy lube on western... back 07 or so, when i had a student id. They had a sign 10% off for state students. They wouldn't give it to me because they said the inspection price couldn't be discounted, since the state set the price for the stickers. I pointed out that the state sold the stickers for like 6 bucks a piece, that 10% off 30 bucks wouldn't infringe upon that. They just got pissy. Douches.

Inspections where I normally go have been 10-15 over the past 8 years I've been driving.

how old are y'alls cars? it *MIGHT* have to do with the age of the car (the price). certain cars and certain year cars only need one of the inspections which ends up being way cheaper.

i don't know the details but i know some older cars and some certain models of cars have cheaper inspections. i'm sure the rules are somewhere.

of course they may have given you a discount, i'm just saying that the variation in price COULD be because of the make/model/year or whatever of car you drive.

oh dag. then it seems like piddlebug got one of the inspections for free!!! haha. i think the safety one is the cheap one that everyone has to have

and then the other one for the environment is the expensive one. i think older cars don't need to have that but the cut off is like in the early 90s (cause my car is a 97 and i gotta do the 30 dollar one)

its nice they gave her a discount because a lot of times car places do the OPPOSITE to cute girls and try to talk them into getting like 2389492384 extra things they don't need thinking a girl won't know better! sooo rude!

Haha. Tonight I was on my side propped up on my elbow switching videos on Hulu and felt this horrific pain in my ribs. Like unable to breathe pain. And all I could think was if it hurts me this much, wtf is it doing to the baby?
