I would go pool, personally. I always end up buying shit I don't need when I go to B&N and people watching. I'd probably get more done by the pool.

and sometimes there are loud people in the cafe area talking on cell phones or eating

last time this dude was eating SO loud i wanted to murder him. then he was on his phone talking about how he was studying but i could clearly see (and hear) that he was only eating really loud and organizing his itunes

I somehow have a patience with small children that I just do not have with adults, or even older children. I chewed out a kid that did not belong to my preschool group at the library today. He was throwing his "reading passport" around and it was landing on other kids. (we were all sitting on the floor for storytime) It hit one of my kids and I very nicely asked him to stop throwing it because the corners could hurt someone/poke them in the eye/whatever. He continued to do so and hit my kid again. I proceed to chew him out. He was also using the thing to hit people.
