it just takes a while to find the right deal between discount websites, booking through an airline's frequent flyer program discounts (+points), or through the visa signature/other cc benefits deals.

This is a long story, but I find it extremely hilarious.

So a little background:

My family is extremely polarized. Half of the family is very pro-butthole thread and the other half is extremely anti-butthole thread.

At the beach this past weekend celebrating the 4th, I had the pleasure of staying in a 3br double wide with the family. My uncle (one who is extremely conservative) was taking food scraps down to the landing to feed the gulls. Before he could get within 50 feet of the beach, a flock of 50 or so seagulls had showed up to get the free food.

He came back to the house declaring that he had a new name for the seagulls. He would then call them "welfare gulls" because they are always prowling for handouts. This enraged my aunt (one from the liberal half of the family). She went off on him saying that there are only certain gulls that look for the handouts, but the majority of them are off looking for food the "old fashioned" way.

I found this exchange particularly intriguing and hilarious.

today i went to view a house for rent in oakwood

got there early because i figured, hey i'll drive around and see if i can spot any other cool places for rent

WELL then i drove by the house i was going to look at. it could have been fine except the "fenced in back yard" was a massive pile of orange mud, uprooted trees and a smashed fence...i can only guess NOT repaired since the tornado

like you wouldn't be able to pull into the (gravel) driveway without getting orange mud on your car and then all over your feet once you exited the car. it was a house on a mud island.

it was kind of in the ghetto anyway so i emailed the dude and was like, nevermind don't need to see the inside. the "fenced in yard" said enough.

THEN i drove past the PERFECT 1bdrm that i was going to get in May before it was stolen from me by someone who signed a lease before me and it was looking all cute and then i got angry and frustrated and ate pizza.
