I've got a 4s, and I just started noticing this around the time of the upgrade to i0S6, i am continuously getting logged out of TWW. if i close the browser for awhile, or am not using my phone, when i bring up Tdub again, i'm logged out. I had never had this problem until the last few weeks. Anyone else have this issue?

Well, despite frustration with the lack of AT&T LTE service in my area, and for that matter, the voice coverage at my house, I had been refusing to switch to Verizon due to their new "Share Everything" plans being a giant fucking rip-off if you're just one dude with one phone.

However, I found out that I can just tag along on someone else's plan for a few bucks more, so I got my mom to add me to her Verizon account. Now I can share her plan, and it costs me like $50/month. Verizon is ok for individuals--you just have to find another person or two that you're OK with sharing an account with, haha.

At any rate, I grabbed a white, 32 GB iPhone 5 tonight.

Got my 5 in yesterday and I have to say that I'm surprised at how disappointed I am in the smaller screen. Didn't think it was going to be a big deal, but this is going to take some getting used to.

Just found this neat little program that lets you hide the Newsstand app in a folder on unjailbroken phones. I just tried it on my 5 and it works perfectly.

I occasionally (like 1 out of every 5 times), get a little static/glitch on the keypad area when I'm typing on my iphone.

Thought I'd post this in the iPhone thread, since it's as good a place as any:

So I have an upgrade coming up with Verizon in February, and I want the new iPhone (I currently have a Samsung Charge ).

I average about 1.5 GB of data use per month (my wife averages just a shade under a gig). We both still have unlimited data grandfathered into our plan.

I'm tempted to get one of the shared data plans (4 GB per month, I guess) and upgrade to the iPhone 5, but a not insignificant part of me is extremely hesitant to give up unlimited data.

Thoughts?

On iOS6 there is. It's called guided access and you can enable it in the settings and then activate it with a triple click of the home button. It disables all the hardware buttons and any on-screen buttons that you choose, so even menu buttons within the app are not able to be pressed.

^^^ that's what I have and I like it, not as thick as some of the others I've seen. I took a scotchbrite pad to the outside to dull it down a bit and remove the mono price logo. FYI, my phone charges and syncs fine but the lightning cable doesn't quite fit all the way in.

I'm what behind on updates... ooops. But did updating to the newest version of iOS off up anyone's phone? Mine seems to be screwed up. Keeps shutting off & rebooting itself. Then the only way I can get it back on is by plugging it into the computer, restoring it in iTunes & reinstalling iOS. Then it'll kinda work for a few mins (screen will freeze on the lock screen, it has only a dim backlight) before it starts rebooting itself again. Ideas? It was totally fine prior to the update. I've read on some of the support boards that some people want through this process multiple times before their phi e worked normally. I dunno. Its an iPhone 4. Kinda bummed - 1st ever trouble with an Apple product!!

I have one of the white ones. I had to trim the plastic near the charge port to get the dock connector to fit correctly. I have the white version and I have found that the rubbery plastic stains easily. It has discolored just from quite a bit and is no longer white.

^^ I don't have an answer but if you are having problems with the device and take it to an apple store, they can sell you a new one for $129 (or something like that) without using an upgrade.

I had to do it with my 4 because it kept giving me the "no sim card" error. It isn't cheap, but at least it is something.
