someone bought me and 6 of my friends dinner at hooters today. it was anonymous but i managed to get the waitress (side note: she had like the perfect body/face IMO) to let me buy the person a beer, to which i tipped 15 bucks on top of. someone pays me a good deed and i pay it right back.

everyone deals w/ it differently

but one thing that helps almost all people is time

doesn't that suck? i mean not to be a negative nancy but you can't just fast forward your life and it really fucking sucks

so i think recognizing that it sucks and that you hurt or have whatever emotions that you are having is the best way. if you bottle them up then like 2 years after the fact you have a mental breakdown and people are like "wtf" because they don't get it.

yea it is horrible. find things that help you and do those things. sounds super cliche and unhelpful but it is the truth like...you have been through tough shit before. its kinda the same. when things get hard you find ways to deal. like...how do you get through having a sick child? no one knows. but you know because you did it and i'm sure that was super duper hard.

time helps. time doesn't heal all wounds. but it definitely helps.

p.s. sorry about your gma not a stalker just saw you post on here a few weeks ago about taking care of her and then i read a post about her will and stuff so. i'm sorry FWIW

My gma said that she'd survive to see my baby and she died 6 days after Amelia was born.

Because of everything that was going on. I haven't had time to really grieve. My gma always said that I'd be the one who would cry longest and loudest, but I just haven't had the time to do it. With my grandmother's final illness to handle, her estate to settle, and a brand new baby, I just haven't had the chance to indulge in grief. But every night before I go to bed, I can feel it creeping up on me...

i think that is the thing. i know you have a lot on your plate right now but whenever you do get a chance you need to indulge

don't push it aside. people are afraid to cry and grieve but you can't be strong forever. you are definitely a strong person BUT whenever you get through the estate and the handling of everything, take some time. even if it is before bed or whenever. you need some you time.

and i think that is awesome she said she'd survive to see amelia and did. grandparents are funny that way. its like...they're so set in their ways they continue to call the shots even until the end.
