I'm in the 2nd week of the championship round and up 34pts

my main toss up here is qb
garrard vs tennessee (will he start or leftwich)
favre vs seattle (home vs a team with starters sitting)
boller @ cleveland (a pretty hot qb over the last few weeks)

also leftwich is available for pickup in free agency

if its announced leftwich def won't play then I'll prob stick with garrard otherwise its looking like boller. any other suggestions?

lj, tiki, ss, fitzgerald are all locks on rb and wr

def
colts @ ariz (with starters sitting)
patriots vs miami

i'm leaning towards patriots on this

i've got a -61 line on this week alone... so might not need to much help

i would prob go with Garrard vs TENN mainly due to TENN's defense is crappy and Garrard will get a good amount of playing time before the blowout is over

Wrong.

I would actually go with Boller.

Garrard may not even play becasue Del Rio wants Leftwich to play a game before the playoffs begin. If Leftwich doesnt play, that would indicate a pretty serious injury and they would do thier best to preserve Garrard, becasue i guarantee they wont start Leftwich in thier wildcard game without any game experience.

Boller has been hot and he is facing a shitty defense. Add that to the fact that Boller is essentially playing for his job, as well as the fact that niether of these teams have any reason to sit thier starters, you have to play Boller based on these facts.

Either of the defenses will get you a few turnovers. You cant go wrong with either, but based on effort, I'd stick with New England.

You can count on that advice.

jags are guaranteed a spot. i think playing leftwich might be a mistake. he isn't 100%. they should stick with garrard, changing back and forth like that could do more harm than good.

Yes Jags have locked a spot, and Leftwich has been medically cleared to practice so he could play Sunday if Del Rio wants him to.

^If they win they are in. Just depends on which Panther team shows up.

^^nah man, definetly dont stop posting, like I said, I really do find your advice to be very helpful. and I do understand that if you really are winning all of your league championships you are allowed a certain level of cockiness, its just when it goes over the top that it gets annoying.

^yes the panthers have a very good shot at getting into the playoffs. If they win against the falcons they are definetly in, if they lose then they will need a LOT of help from other contenders to get in

now, how about some help with this conundrum:

Pick one QB:
Jim Sorgi vs. Cardinals
Chris Simms vs. Saints

Pick one RB: (I am already starting Larry Johnson)
Fred Taylor vs. Titans
Maurice Hicks vs. Texans

Pick 3 WRs: (this is where I need the most help deciding)
Donald Driver vs. Seahawks
Laveraues Coles vs. Bills
Bobby Engram vs. Packers
Jimmy Smith vs. Titans
Drew Carter vs. Falcons

well, neither of those QB's really impress me, but i would also have to say Simms, simply because his team has something to play for.

A solid pickup this week in the QB's has been Seneca Wallace from Seattle. According to reports, Hasselbeck and the other starters will start the game in order to try and get Alexander the single season touchdown record. They wont however play more than 2 offensive series, making Wallace a great start but also making Engram a poor play.

I would also check the status of fragile Freddy at RB before game time, because with the playoffs locked up and knowing Taylor tendency to get injured, it wouldnt suprise me to see him sitting this one out. I would actually start Hicks.

My receivers would be Driver (could this be the Favre finale? If so, i bet he and his recievers go off against a second string Seahawks defense), Coles (the Jets have actually been moving the ball well as of late, and Coles is thier 1st, 2nd, and 3rd option), and Smith, but you will definitely need to check his status for the same reasons as Fragile Freddy. If he sits, Carter would be a sneaky good play. Troy Walters (WR) from Indy is also getting alot of looks with the top three WR's likely sitting in their finale. So far, it looks like he would be a great start.

yeah, I wasnt planning on starting Engram or Fragile Freddie

the 49ers dont have any passing game, so Hicks should see a lot of carries, against a bad texans defense

and I agree with your WR picks, I was thinking about picking up Troy Walters, but didnt know how reliable he is.

Also, do you really think that Seneca Wallace will have a decent game? I havent seen him play at all this year and dont know if I can trust him enough to start him. I did see Jim Sorgi last week and he looked really good, I just dont know how much playing time he will get - meaning enough to put up respectable fantasy numbers.

^^^holy fuck, your team is stacked. I dont even know if I would want that much talent on my team, it'd be too hard to pick who to start and who to sit

Sorgi definitely has more experience, but Wallace is as fast as Vick and has better accuracy, he just doesnt have the experience yet. He will also get you alot of rushing yards as well. sneaky play, but i would probably put Sorgi @ home ahead of him.

Morris (RB), Alexander's replacement in Seattle, should also see alot of carries as well.

just food for thought.
