Dave Glenn on 850 the buzz right now. He says don't jump the gun yet, everything points towards Calipari coming here but it's not definate.

Glenn says Memphis wanted a chance to reoffer Calipari a raise, so they asked him for 24hrs to talk with boosters. Glenn thinks those 24hrs are over now. He thinks they're done talking with boosters and are negotiating right now. Calipari is supposedly mad that he didn't get a raise for winning 30 games and making an elite8.

rumors are that cal wanted to bring most of his staff and wanted us to pony up the money to get them substantial raises from what they were making. one of the problems he has at memphis is that he thinks his assistants arent getting paid enough. so its not about what money can be raised for cal, but what we can do for his staff.
