good luck with it, but if there is one thing I'm pretty sure of and believe in now, it's that you can't change what other people do and want to do... if it's gonna happen it will find a way eventually... forcing stuff doesn't work (or it won't in the long run even if it does temporarily)

take your time, be happy, do what you gotta do, and one day when and if it's time, it'll happen

it may be next week...

or even 3 or 4 years down the road

but if it's gonna happen, it will... without even having to do a thing but live your life and take the opportunity when it presents itself

i'm pretty much torn between two things, and i cant decide which one (or even both) is for the wrong reasons.

Road A: I grew up in racing, when i was a kid, all i did was go to the track with my mom who raced in the busch series for a short period and with my dad who helped a startup team. I went to college to work in racing, i met a guy who i was planning on marrying (until he cheated on me 12 times...another story and we (i) broke off our engagement and living situation), and ran his 3 car stock car team and i became so stuck in it its pretty much all i know. But, i don't know if i stayed in it because, i was forced to participate because of my fiance, and making the decision to move back is entirely based on the fact i haven't ventured much far off that course of path to know anything different i love. Its not a smart career move, because id say 90% of my friends that work in that sport has their job on the line everyday of their life.

Road B: Stay in raleigh, go to graduate school, work in finance or health care. I know both paths are something i can make a lot of money off of, would potentially better support my long term goals, and that i actually am kind of interested in. But again, i don't know if deciding to stay here is for the wrong reasons as well. I dont know if this would be "playing it safe" and id regret it when im 35, and i don't know if i'm unconsciously choosing to stay here because its safe and because my all family that i'm really close to and current s/o are here in raleigh.

i dont want to compromise myself, but when i try to think "what would i have to do in five years to look back and be truly happy? i don't know which road i see more clear. I pretty much have less than a month to figure this all out too.
