Based on my extensive two hand touch football experience I would say that catching a ball that is tipped is a lot harder than it looks just because you're expecting the football to hit your hands a certain way.

I never said it wasnt harder, but if a ball hits an NFL caliber WR (especially a top 5 one) in the hands I would bet they would catch it more often than not
