Wow yesterday was just embarrassing. Bobby really made some poor decisions. Why is he so against bringing in Wagner early. You have a weapon like him and instead you let Venters get rocked and then bring in Farnsworth to let everyone score. Wagner hasn't pitched in a few days so I doubt him going for 4 outs is going to kill his arm?

Also what it is about the Rockies? Last year the Braves heading into the All Star break were playing well and then had back to back games where they blew two big leads against the Rockies. That was a turning point IMO regarding the 09 Braves and those two games would have been huge regarding the wild card race as the Braves were right there with Colorado until they quit playing the last 6 games.

This Braves team sucks badly on the road and their defense is still inexplicably bad. You would expect a young team to play poorly on the road, but not a team loaded with veterans. Also I think Venters is just getting tired. Our pen has started looking a lot less formidable over the past few weeks. At least O'Flaherty is back.

Wow I cannot believe the Phillies got swept at home by the Astros. I am an Astros fan for the rest of the season (unless they play the Braves). Seriously what the hell happened to the Braves and Phillies this week when Monday rolled around. 0-7 combined. Just tightened things up in the wild card I guess and gave SD a cushion for the home field advantage in the playoffs.

Both teams have to be kicking themselves for blowing an opportunity to gain ground on the other team. Still irked about that horrible SB call on Monday that led to the Rockies go ahead run.
