one of my buddies almost got kicked out last night. Vandy fan came down to standing room only to lecture my friends about being "good fans" when he says their whole sections was goading and heckling them when they were winning.

my friend said that he dropped an F bomb on the vandy fan and security was called /////weak

NCAA probably has no problem bending over to help ESPN, but I don't know why they get to keep their archives.

I think it was attempted to get the games on ESPN3 but ESPN wasn't real responsive on that... the way I look at it is more people could have watched it on CBS' site since there's no ISP check, granted that takes away the WatchESPN app for phones/tablets and what not.

I was in section 11. Several pack fans were heckling the Vandy section. It was quite comical, a cop stood there most of the game.

^Yeah, things got a little heated behind section 10 pretty early (1st or 2nd inning). I'm not really sure what was said, but they were pretty in to it. From the little bit I caught the Vandy fan was mad because his wife said something and the State fans standing behind the section responded. I'm sure they were very polite and threw a ma'am in at the end.

I was one of those up there yelling at those Vandy wimmen last night. They were up their own ass. They started the whole deal. The cops and Doak Field Nazis lived up to their crappy reputation.

FWIW, Carlos was a 2/3/4 round pick at least, if he wanted to be. He and his parents made it known he was leaning heavily toward State from the get-go. Most of the college baseball writers out there have stated he would go first overall, if he were draft-eligible this year..

And here's a picture of a baseball bat, similar to ones they were using at the game your friend attended.

Chris Diaz (Pirates) and Ryan Mathews (A's) were the only two current players drafted.

6 of our recruits were also drafted. The top two are already in the process of signing from what I've seen. Not sure about the others. Coach Tenuta's son Matt was drafted by the Royals in the 24th round.

Chris is almost certainly gone..

Ryan fell so far because he was a senior. Teams know there isn't much other choice for the player and put off drafting him. That applies to 99% of senior college players. There are always exceptions for can't-miss prospects.

It puts our pitching staff in their normal rotation. If Florida pitches their main ace in Game 1, it would give us more of pitching advantage in Game 2. This way you have Rodon to either win the super or save the super. Gotta win 2.

Interesting scouting report on both teams. Nothing groundbreaking, but more of what we already know. State's good. Florida's really f---ing good. Hopefully we'll have the better weekend.

Glad Rodon is starting Game 2 as that should give most of our bullpen a day off in the middle of the series.

problem with those scouting reports is a different person gives every one, so you really can't compare them against each other.

So Florida is unbeatable.

But they can't even win their own conference.

Anybody coming down for the games this weekend? Trying to decide if I should get there early enough to attempt to sit with other State fans. UF fans are unbearable.
