That's typical player-speak. Marshall is a great great college one who puts those guys in position to be great. Do you think Zeller wins PoTY with Larry fucking Drew heaving 3s and throwing the ball away?

Make no mistake, losing KM is a compete game changer. He's the one irreplaceable part on that roster and made even more so by the loss of Dexter Strickland. Ironically UNC this year has had more "NC State shit" happen to them than we have!

So Marshall is having surgery and getting a screw put in his wrist today. They are trying to get him ready to play.

I've got an uneasy feeling about this. One...Ohio sucks. They are small across the board and I think UNC can beat them without Marshall. I think it would be better for us if he does play. One hit to that wrist could put him back on the bench.

If we manage to get past Kansas, I still can't see us beating UNC...with Marshall. Without Marshall is a different story, I just can't be positive about playing UNC. I think they roll us in the ACC tourney with Henson playing. He's the game changer in the paint that Marshall is in the backcourt.

i'm not even going to consider anything to do with a Carolina rematch until i see zeroes on the clock and a higher score against Kansas. This is going to be a very tough matchup with a terrible draw in start time. 10:17 means it likely won't start until after 10:30

Kansas had their WTF game against Perdue. They'll come ready to play on Friday. I was really hoping for an early Thursday game but oh we'll. At least our guys have about an extra day of rest as they were back in Raleigh well before Kansas even tipped off last night.

Early start times are a lot worse than late start times.

Usually, start times only make a difference when it's a west coast team flying back east to play a noon game. The west coast team usually takes a while to "wake up". I don't think we're in any danger of falling asleep in the second half.
