After all the talk from the Pac 12 and SEC about the ACC being overrated, we've already put the most teams through to the super regionals with 2 more playing for spots today.

I also loved the W&M kid sitting a few rows behind us who seemed to be completely serious when he yelled that it wasn't over yet with 2 down in the 9th last night.

And for one last note from the weekend, can we please never adopt that stupid throw it in the dirt chant?

He got boo'ed some. But to be fair, and I had a pretty good view of it, I don't think many people sitting where he was wouldn't have reached for the ball. It was maybe only a foot or so from being in the stands and out of play and I'm not sure the guy on their team catches it without a doubt but maybe he had more room than it seemed to make the play. Wasn't like he was hanging 3 feet out onto the field he stood up and reached arms out.

I think what was worse was just another way for Austin to get out. Guy is struggling at the plate and having a good at bat fighting off pitches and then gets called out on fan interference. Finished up a weird inning that also had the base runner interference call which kept the inning alive.

I couldn't watch the game, what happened with bartman? I assume a fan caught a foul ball that one of our players could have caught?

^No interference with the other team catching the ball. Opposite of Bartman. Ump then called Austin out.

I didn't see the runner interference since I was at the stadium and was looking at the play at first, was it a good call? Same guy made the fan interference call so perhaps make up call? Back to back interference calls by the same ump, how about you interject yourself into the game even more there guy.... guess he was getting bored.

Both interference calls were good calls. The runner interference the pitcher basically hip checked our player. And on the fan interference the w&m player was right under the ball it was a pretty sure catch.
