It is funny that we were excited about the tie but Cincy fans were pissed, even though we both got the exact same outcome. We obviously wouldn't be pumped up if Gano had missed a potential game winner. But in hindsight, they can't be mad for too long because a tie is better than a loss, and both teams didn't capitalize on opportunities to win.

I know why it is, it's just an interesting aspect of the outcome.

Normally, if you have a chance to kick a game winning field goal, it's either "we either win or go to overtime" or "we either win or lose" if you're down by 1 or 2 points. Like if you have the ball in basketball with 3 seconds left in a tie game, versus being down 1 point. So once you (Bengals and Bengals fans) can process it, it won't seem as bad as a loss obviously.

37 points should have been enough. The defense is inexplicably ass. I'll take the result but if Dalton and Sanu put up 37 points on us, Rodgers is going to have a field day next week.

Noticed the earlier discussion about the 4th and 2 (missed most of this damn game because the wife found a dog she wanted online and we had to go get it), Ron made the right call. If my kicker was Nugent (or Nate Kaeding) I go for it, but Gano has been solid in the clutch. I'd guess the chance to win or whatever in advanced stats would be about even for the decision.
