I'm still going to win by 100+ this week but it sucks that Antonio Brown doesn't get a single point for the 71 yard punt return for a TD in my league.
I hate our scoring system. My biggest complaint we have decimals turned off. So team A could have 3 players with 1 reception for -9 yards each and Team B could have 3 player with 9 rushing yards each. Team A (-27 yards) would have 3 points and Team B (+27 yards) would have 0 points. I lost a game earlier in the year due to this. We tied but I would have won by almost a point if we used decimals. 12/7/2015 8:22:01 AM |

Was worried I messed up by sitting Bortles, way to come through in the end Big Ben. Had only the Colts kept up, he could have easily went for 400+ yards and at least 5 TDs. 12/7/2015 9:12:56 AM |

I'm in the playoffs and could win this bitch with a couple pieces.
I still have a chance, but I need at least 15 points from QB position to make it happen. Problem is PRivs and chargers O are just down for the count. Is Kurt Cousins the Answer for me? (BTW, we can't make waiver pickups anymore unless a starter gets injured.)
Whats hilarious, I would have never thought that at this point in season, I would be looking at Jonathan Stewart as my one Rock at running back position. I figured he would have been dead by now, or have at least two acl tears getting the full load. (injury prone)
Remember I said at beginning of year I had a lot of lucky breaks to make the playoffs. I needed J stew to be a #2 RB, and I need Gurley to break out and be a stud. luckily it worked out exactly like that, but Gurley and Ivory are slowing down at the worst time And the Chargers offense is basically shit.
Its gonna be a tough road through Glenn's team. His squad is LEGIT. AP, Demarco, whatever Chiefs RB that isn't injured, PLUS megatron. Oh and Carson Palmer, aka "Palm dog".
Do I have any chance?
Only time will tell.

Pretty stout in some areas, weak in others. Odell could destroy me single handedly.

Looks like I'm back to picking up another TE now that Bennett is done. I still have Witten but they don't throw to him (or can't throw to him) so:
Charles Clay - Buf @ Phi Ladarius Green - SD @ KC Jacob Tamme - ATL @ Car Owen Daniels - Den vs Oak Coby Fleener - Ind @ Jax Zach Ertz - PHI vs Buf Jordan Cameron - Mia vs NYG etc
all pretty boring options, just have to pick the one that gets in 12/9/2015 7:16:57 AM |

Fleener has the best matchup, but you're pretty much just throwing a dart with whichever one you choose.
Who should I start from this group? Pick one.
Char. West vs. SD McFadden @ GB Gore @ JAX Dem. Thomas vs. OAK
Also, should i consider starting Seferian-Jenkins (vs NO) over Delanie Walker (@ NYJ)? Matchup is much better but Walker has been solid. I'm starting Winston at QB if that makes a difference. 12/9/2015 9:56:19 AM |

Thomas is the clear choice for me. West is splitting too much time with Ware, especially with Ware getting most of the red zone work. Gore has a great matchup, but dude is old and beat up. McFadden is seeing plenty of volume but isn't doing much with it.
Gotta love Jenkins' matchup, but is he 100% yet? I'm probably go with Walker.

HOOPS SHALOM All American 1505 Posts user info edit post |
hey man, that was week 11. In week 12 he balled out. Its true it was against KC when he was shit, but my options in Free agency are very limited as this is a stupidly retarded complex dynasty league where there are unlimited keepers and where the players we draft and bid on in free agency each year have a salary, and a contract term of up to 4 years. Its basically like an NFL GM sim we play every year. And even making free agent pickups can be costly. due to luxury tax
Plus, a guy like Jameis Winston was not available to pick up like he probs would have been in a yearly league. Winston was drafted 8th overall in this league, signed to a $5 contract, for a term of 4 years. (The league salary cap is 70 dollars). If the owner who signed him to this deal dropped him right now, he would owe an additional 20 bucks to pay for his years of salary.
ALSO, if you are under the salary cap when the season starts, Waiver wire pickups cost $2 bucks per. But once you reach that 70 dollar salary cap, there is a luxury tax, which makes every free agent pick up thereafter cost 10 bucks.
So two weeks ago, right after Privs had balled out for big points in week 12, I wasn't feeling in the mood to pick up Blaine Gabbert for an another $10.00, amirite?

I noticed the consensus was freeman over west. Is that because west is a greater risk or am I overestimating the carolina d? My first assumption was that carolina would shut down the run. Are they more of a pass d that does ok against the run? 12/10/2015 9:37:19 AM |

^I don't agree with that, but Spencer Ware is getting the goal line work and Freeman catches a lot of passes too. If Hankerson is gimpy again and Julio Jones is shadowed by Norman, someone is going to have to catch the ball when Atlanta gets in catch-up mode.
last time vs SD, West rushed 11 times for 16 yards and was not effective prior to pulling his hamstring. Ware rushed 11 times for 96 yards and two TDs, both from 3 yards out.

Start jameis over Rodgers? That matchup against NO looks awfully tempting.
Also need either a flex or WR2. I've got cooper, hurns, jj Nelson and davante Parker. Cooper has a terrible matchup against Denver and it seems Crabtree is the focus now anyways. Hurns seems to be injury ridden and Robinson is obviously benefitting from that even more. Jj Nelson is back in the depth chart but that Vikings team without its defense is going to get shredded by Arizona and Parker looks like he's going to be way more involved with a good last two games being basically his only action. My WR1 is maclin. I'm leaning towards Parker as the 2 and either hurns or cooper as flex. My other flex options are Antonio Andrews and kerwynn Williams. Andrews has a bad Jets matchup and Williams is second on depth but again against that tempting Vikings D 12/10/2015 1:10:17 PM |

I'm assuming you're only disagreeing with the "even if" portion of my post, and ok if West wasn't splitting reps it might be more of a conversation, but when you compare Freemans numbers to the first half of this season to West's best weeks when he's had all the touches it's not even close.12/10/2015 1:54:09 PM |

if West wasn't splitting carries, the choice would be West no questions asked. Looking at Freeman weeks 3-7 is not good advice for week 14 when he's been RB2 at best since then. KC is built around the running game and is going up against arguably the worst run D in the league. The only reason I would recommend Freeman over West is due to West losing goal line work in a RBBC. 12/10/2015 2:52:28 PM |
LudaChris All American 7946 Posts user info edit post |
^The "SD is the worst run D in the league" thing is actually off. I think it was before Week 8 they were giving up like 140+ rushing yards a game, and since then they're averaging <100 yards rushing allowed per game.
Freeman is actually fairly appealing in PPR leagues, Panthers are bottom 5 for allowing receptions to RBs(mainly teams just taking a bunch of dump offs), so I could see Freeman having 8-10 catches this week. 12/10/2015 2:58:01 PM |

Most of the expert sites I reference have had him firmly RB1 (often high-end at that) all year, and even this week. When you say "RB2 at best" you must be talking about his production, and not what he's being rated as going into each week...which I don't think is the idea of that designation ]12/10/2015 3:10:57 PM |

Playing Baltimore, Chicago without Forte, Jacksonville, and Denver this year tends to have that effect on rushing statistics. KC ran all over top of them week 11 @SD, and we're talking about a rematch at KC this time.12/10/2015 4:51:59 PM |

West should have more yards this week, but little touchdown upside that Freeman will have.

I set my lineup this morning, but it looks like my Internet timed out before it actually went through.
So I just had to trade the only two players who still haven't played yet to pick up a defense and a wide receiver who will at least be playing. I now have 7 wide receivers, two defenses, and two quarterbacks--only one of whom actually plays--on my team.
