^Guessing he means he kept Berry from getting into a physical altercation or cussing out someone else?

I'm sure he was exaggerating it, but I don't see a problem with stepping in to deescalate something.

I'm really surprised a ref would say something stupid like that in an interview.

I don't know what de-escalation situation he stepped into, but to me it translates to I was a dick to Berry previously, so they next time he could have gotten a technical I went easy on him.

Good old TV Teddy pissed he got left off the NCAA tournament and now he's doing a media tour telling anyone who will listen how heartbroken he is.

Dude is incompetent. Any official that fans across the sport know enough to have given a nickname to is a bad referee. I don't care what various coaches/writers come out in support of him.

Final wolfpack hustle. Gonna miss this team. Hope we look back on them as the beginning of an era of winning.

Whoever made the decision to get these videos produced is awesome though. Great doc series for the season. With any luck, they will keep it going.

read on the rivals site (might be behind a paywall, idk) that offensively this year was:

9th best in terms of 3pt % for NC State all time (team was 37.2%)

7th fewest total turnovers in program history

steals per game (7.4) was best since '04-05 season

also most turnovers per game (14.8) since the '04-05 season

opponents shot 46.5%, the highest % we've given up since '92-93

rebounding margin was the worst since '06-07

it was obvious before reading this what needs to improve (and what we did well)...just interested to see it in put in perspective.

Let's come up with an all star team of players in the NCAA's that played for State or seriously considered State as a recruit.

PG- Davontae Graham (Kansas)
SG- Malik Newman (Kansas)
SF- Caleb Martin (Nevada)
SF- Cody Martin (Nevada)
C- Kyle Washington (Cincy)

^^^Gary Clark

We took Abu over him. Seemed like the right move for a year or two. Now it obviously wasn't.

With equal coaching who knows what could’ve been. But it’s not like gary clark was a bum coming out of high school. But yes, at the time it seemed like Abu > Clark. Just sucks to pass on a local guy like Clark and then see him go on to do so well.
