day 2 for serious job searching - its not that i want to quit. i like some of the people i work with and the "vacation" time is nice - i'm so just tired of the lying and manipulating and crap like that. and if i have to deal with it, then i want to be paid more...

no they never called today which i'm assuming meaning my labwork came back normal and then it wasn't a priority to call me and then someone just forgot

i'm going to call them tomorrow just to double check though

they put me on antibiotics for kidney infection but my symptoms didn't 100% match up with that they said (or a UTI for that matter, or any infection for that matter because i didn't have a fever). *shrug*

kidney stones were also talked about but i didn't have the like sharp stabbing pain. had some stabbing pain but it wasn't like death stabbing pain. so they were confused.

i still have back pain but i have peed 3 times today and that is up from the past few days so maybe whatever it is is going away/maybe it was a kidney infection and the antibiotics are working?

yea, they said it would be today (this morning actually). so i figured i'd call tomorrow and just check. because yesterday he was like "we will call you in the morning"

so no idea. clearly it wasn't something urgent!!

Give them a call tomorrow - I know sometimes the dr's get busy and forget to call. Annoying yes but I think you'll feel better if you call.

but yea i'll call and just inquire. i don't wanna bug but just having them actually say everything is normal would give me some peace of mind

of course then i'll be angry i had to go through the whole catheter ordeal but ya know better safe than sorry i suppose when it comes to your organs hehe

You would be surprised how quickly doctors "forget." even when I went through all that testing last year, I still had to call and bug them and sometimes wait up to 2 weeks for results. And they thought I had a tumor in my brain so yeah, I feel your frustration but there's nothing wrong with bugging them

I had a urinary one after having each girl. It was not that bad when they took it out. I can't imagine doing that yourself.

i had a catheter with both babies too. and i had a sample taken that way a long time ago in the ER. i dont think its bad at all... other than the indignity.

me either it made me feel bad for the people on the catheter commercials

and it was just uncomfortable. i actually liked the removing less than i liked the putting in. it is mostly just awkward (if you are conscious i mean...a lot of times you aren't so, lucky you). awkward and uncomfortable. i mean it is a tube going up an exit only thing - doesn't hurt but isn't pleasant. kinda like a gyno visit. pressure.
