i am NOT looking forward to going back to 40+ hours a week tomorrow. ugh would rather die. i REALLY hope one of the 32974023984 jobs i apply for in the next few weeks wants me instead. it has gotten to the point where i HATE my job. it is killing me slowly. and i hate that feeling of dread before work EVERY single day. if sept comes and i haven't found something else, i will quit and find a table waiting job before i keep working there. ughhh.

Katherine have you looked at jobs in CROs (clinical research companies) and pharma companies? They like folks with law degrees to do their legal stuff and draft up contracts. I can give you some names of companies to check out. Definitely good money in it and job security.

Yes I did! I thought it was awful, but that's exactly what I've heard from everyone. Just happy to be done, and trying not to be nervous about it for the next five weeks.

I'm now sad because I remember all the terrible things I saw and couldn't fix at my last job.

I'm also happy because I know how to prevent a lot of shit like that from happening and am much more proactive about OTJ safety and try to get people to learn from my experiences so they're never in the same situation (and so they can spot and fix the same problems).
