exactly...and that is was my boss said...she called me in her office today and was like "some people have been making complaints about you"

and i was like "wtf did I do?"

and she was like "well basically they said you're too chipper, and they think you are fudging your number."

it's impossible for me to fudge numbers, and that's what my boss said...

so i was like "so people are complaining because i do my job with a smile on my face"

and she was like "basically, I love it, and I don't want you to change. The customers love it, the sales reps love it, everyone loves it, except for the miserable people that work here. Misery loves company"

I mean it upset me some...cause damn, what type of person will go and complain that someone is too happy

after work I went to my parents house and told them about it, and my dad was like "They are really gonna hate it when someone 20 years+ younger than them is in charge of them because that person was a hard worker that never complained"

She told me that the only reason she told me is because she saw someone say something to me today and she could tell it hurt my feelings. She wanted me to know that she disagrees with the way some of them feel, and that my national boss disagrees with them too. She also told me that because I do so much work, and I don't complain that it's adding to my job security.

She also brought up that time last week when I basically went off on one of my coworkers that constantly pushes my buttons, and she said that while I probably went about it the wrong way that she understands why I did it. She gave me pointers about how to react next time it happens.

I appreciate her telling me that, but at the same time it hurts my feelings. I mean I knew people thought that, but I didn't think they would actually have the nerve to make complaints about me for being happy....I mean wtf

people I work with are a bunch of fake people...people that are two faced...they have no problem being all nice to people on the phone then as soon as they are off the phone bitch and moan...


I also work with some people that love my personality, because they are also, generally happy people...those people are great to work with, because even when they are having a bad day they are still optimistic. They don't like to cut other people down.
