what should I get for my friend as a housewarming gift? they moved in a couple months ago (just bought their first house), and this is the first time I'll be seeing her since the move. It's only for a day- we're going to a bridal expo.

she's an old HS buddy, and is getting married next year. They have a registry, but I don't want to show up with bath towels. They're into all sorts of alcohol and her fiance does plenty of home-brewing. I know they expect nothing, but I'd like to get them a bottle of wine or scotch at the very least. I just wish I were more creative with things like this

Not really, I get just abnormally excited about things I should know will not turn how I expect them to.....but get super excited because they are new and therefore exciting. Hell, today I was mostly just happy because we weren't that busy at work, for a change. Tonight turned into a shit show because of way too much cheap booze. And therefore, I am very, very happy I took tomorrow off



For effect, let me add how drunk I was tonight, I slid down a whole flight of stairs at Goodnights on my ass.....not fun!!! My back still really hurts from that!
