But he is mad enough now that he wants to kind of get revenge, which is where I come in. He wants to "ask her on a date/dinner type thing implying sex afterwards" and then show up with me instead and explain that he can't make it and she is not worht it or something... just to show her up I guess .... do is it wrong if I participate in this? Is this a bad idea? I can't decide because I keep going back and forth"

Agreed. If it were me I'd probably meet her for coffee and then just point blank tell her all the terrible things she did to him and that is why he thinks she is a bad person and has no interest in sleeping with her. Some people just need to be called out on their bullshit before they realize their actions have consequences.

5^ my pcos meds increased my sex drive after the almost two months it took to get used to them. If she's on metformin give her time. I pretty much felt sick for 6weeks straight, then it started tapering off.
