This to me sounds crazy and as if there are deeper trust issues. Just because someone decides on a whim that they want to go to vegas (even though we now know that isn't the location) doesn't make them a bad person or mean that they're going to have sex with a stripper. Maybe they like to gamble and drink excessively for one time in their life. To use such a strong absolute such as "I would never" sounds like that person doesn't put that much thought into the context or alternatives of a situation.
