Honestly... me too... i was looking at reno jet racers for some reason.. .

they're thinking of doing a warbirds series... the problem is

F-86's - 37 total - optimistically 15 airworthy
MiG-17 - 10 total - perhaps five to six airworthy
MiG-15 - 32 total - perhaps as many as 15 airworthy
T-33 - 90 total - perhaps 40 to 50 airworthy
L-39 - 66 total - majority airworthy

are the considered planes... and the mig 17 is so much faster then the rest it'll be a joke...

i found a couple of the l39s or whatever for 200-300k
but they have glorified leer jet engines.


the mig 29s are 3-6 million...but then they're a f-14 ripoff that actually does everything better then an f-14
17s are in the 1 millon range

15s are 500-800k
